Castlecrag Marine
The team at Castlecrag marina are currently restoring our 1962 Bracken Timber cruiser Alveron and doing a fantastic job. Set in beautiful Sailors bay, the team around Stuart and shipwright Murray are providing expert services in a beautiful setting and with recent improvements to the facilities. Highly recommended.

Castlecrag Marine has expertly maintained my converted WW2 workboat for past 12 years. Their fastidious shipwrights and diesel mechanic Tim Hudson have ensured AWB417 Bangalley attracts positive comments out on the water and is rarely languishing on her mooring.

I have always found Stuart from Castlecrag Marine a pleasure to deal with. He is friendly and engaging and no boat problem is too difficult for him. Stuart is always upfront with me on any unexpected boat issues as soon as they arise. I thoroughly recommend Castlecrag Marina, they antifoul and service my boat every year, including helping out with extra things like arranging cleaning and new covers. Always reasonably priced, I can't fault the quality of their work and commitment to customer service.

Used to be a very good Boatshed with reliable and friendly people, I had boats there over 45 years. The new management aren’t interested in their customers. After many years of dealing with Castlecrag Marine they wouldn’t return my Mooring deposit or overpaid Mooring fees at the end of my lease. The manager is best kept clear of, particularly when he’s having a rant.A shame that a very good shed should become a place to avoid. Plenty of Castlecrag locals have moved on this year, it’s not the place it was and the wharf has been a disgrace for two years.
