A women named Siobhan helped me and a friend out massively tonight. We came as closing and she wasn't annoyed or upset, just super helpful and happy. Completely went the extra mile. We brought more than we planned all because of her. Excellent worker, I would be proud to have her as staff.

We had a suitcase that both handles had snapped off, so headed to Strandbags Mandurah. The manager there was absolutely awesome. She sorted the problem very quickly and we were extremely happy with the outcome! Highly recommend this store.

If I could give it zero star I would. I purchased one travel bag early June 2022 from Siobhan in Mandurah store. I only used it in one trip and found out that the zippers and the lock didn’t work properly. Since it has 15 years warranty, I took it back to the store in the morning of 26/7/22. Siobhan said that she would have a look at it and call me when I was still in Mandurah Forum. However, she didn’t call me, I then went back in the afternoon. She said that she would send it for repairing and let me know the situation. Again, she didn’t contact me at all. During the next one week, I went back to the store to talk to her several times. She always said that she hasn’t got reply from the repairing place. As a consumer, I felt vulnerable and helpless. My last visit to the store, I talked to another stuff Laura as Siobhan wasn’t there. Laura checked their repairing record on the computer but couldn’t find my bag. She said that all bags sent out for repairing should be in the computer system, she then went to check their storage room and she found my bag, which means that Siobhan lied to me; she didn’t send my bag for repairing but replaced the lock by herself. It is ok if she is confident in changing the lock by herself; however, she shouldn’t have lied to me and kept me waiting for a long time and didn’t call me as promised several times and I had to keep going to the store to ask what was going on. Laura said she would ‘force’ Siobhan to call me and she did. Siobhan finally called me in that afternoon and told me that the bag was ready for picking up. However, after picking it up, I found the back of the bag had a very obvious pressing mark; I presumed it could be caused when Siobhan was trying to change the lock. Laura told me that they normally could give me a new bag in that situation but Siobhan just ignored me n didn’t want to take the responsibility. I was very disappointed about the service. Siobhan was the manager in the store and I couldn’t go further level to complain about this. I felt so frustrated and tired and just gave it up. Again, as a consumer I feel vulnerable and helpless. Hopefully, Strandbags could select their store manager more carefully and not to damage their own reputation like Siobhan did.

Yes on that glorified purchase, $20 gift card for Christmas present... .
