Friendly and helpful staff. Decent sized store and range. Plenty of gear to get you ready for your next outdoors adventure!Definitely worth joining up the Summit Club for discounts and coupons for regular shoppers, and also check out the clearance area upstairs. Keep an eye out for sales which occur fairly regularly. Prices can drop by significant amounts (more than 50%) so with a little patience you can grab good quality gear at reasonable prices.

Was served by lady with purple hair and she was lovely! one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had. Super helpful and spent over 45 minutes helping me with all manner of things I needed. Very knowledgable and friendly staff member. Would definitely recommend shopping here.

Pros: staff were super friendly, and responsive to customers needs. Good decent selection for size, design, and material. Staff were patient with our questions, and really made us feel welcome at the shop.Con: Kathmandu is on the pricey side. I guess you pay for the quality and the reputation of the brand.Looking forward to hopefully bargain prices to update our outdoor stuff.

Click and collect not being carried out effectively. Items not available when they say they will be after calling multiple times to ensure item would be ready for pick up and reassured by the staff member that they have set aside item and ensured me it would be ready. Disappointing.

I wanted to buy a jacket but didn't know my size so making a special trip to try on if it fit sure enough that one was available so made my purchase online for click and collect that dropped list of store's picked the store to pick up but not on the day but from 3 to 7 working days should have been selected for delivery has I thought I would be able to receive the order on the day now I have to make another trip to that store so not really click and collect

Great hiking/outdoor equipment store. Not laid out as well as others, slightly confusing. Nevertheless a quick ask of the staff and we're sorted. Keep an eye on the specials rack for bargains if you're ok with the year before stock.

Yes we have just been to Kathmandu and brought some trousers for outside while walking and a jacket for the same Staff were friendly and polite
