Danny is an amazing Potter if that’s the right word. I was after some special mugs, gave him a description and he made them to perfection. Not often you could say that you get first class service first class product and a very good price.

Pumpkin Eye Pottery
This is a working pottery in the big shed at the bottom of the garden. The work is varied and most of the pottery is stoneware, gas/reduction fired. There have been some beautiful and unusual glazes created. Because the pottery is stoneware, it is dishwasher safe, oven and microwave proof. Prices are very reasonable.

My partner and I stopped by after seeing a bunch of his mugs being sold in multiple stores around Margaret River. We were welcomed into Daniels studio, where he was making a pumpkin casserole as we walked in. He gave us a tour of his studio and explained the processes he uses to make his artwork. All of his artwork is very unique and beautiful. He is a lovely, passionate man who loves his work, would definitely recommend that you stop by to check out his art and to meet the artist.

Awesome pottery, with punchy, interesting glazing and designs, different from what you’ll see at other potters on Caves road.As it’s a pretty casual backyard studio so the hours can be a little sporadic - it’s worth giving the owner a call if you’re making the trip out that way, to make sure he’s around.
