This isn't your local enthusiast shop. I needed a working PSU to determine whether my motherboard or PSU was dead (a <2 minute job), but was told it would be $50 per item to test. $50 to literally plug my motherboard in and see if it powered up for more than a second.The shopkeeper was unwilling to negotiate on price given the small amount of time needed. I was willing to buy a new PSU or motherboard depending on which item was broken, however the shopkeeper decided to state policy and attempted to rip me off. Avoid this place if you're looking for someone that actually wants to help you.*Response to owner: I wasn't expecting a free assessment, $50 is just extremely unreasonable for less than 2 minutes of work. Especially when the outcome would have been my buying of a new part at your store, I just needed to know which one. My request essentially involved plugging in two cables and pressing a switch. That is all that was needed to diagnose my issue.I let you know every diagnostic step I had already taken and determined that the only thing left was to use a known-good part to see if it was the power supply or the motherboard.
