Spudshed Thornlie

Staff are friendly and helpful and the shop is generally clean but that is where the good ends. Unfortunately the poor quality of the fruit and veg just doesn’t make the weekly shop worthwhile. Most of the items I wanted were barely good enough to feed to farm animals so I will have to head back to coles to be able to get fresh fruit and veg. Hopefully the quality will improve.

A very good place to buy food, vegetables, fruits, meat etc. The spudshed opens 7 days a week, 24 hours a day even on most public holidays, which is unbelievable in Australia. I am so happy I live close to it which is so convenient. Strongly recommend.

Having 7/24 shop around is good. Good customer service. Easy parking

I'm a bit nervous to go there at the moment. The last two times I did, there was someone outside the shopping centre (a different person each time) asking for money. Both times I'm followed to my car and I'm verbally abused. This has happened both times when I shop there after work. I'd like to see security outside permanently. When that happens, I'll feel safer.

What a joke this shop is!! Ordered 12 items on my Uber eats and they cancelled 8 of them!! And I gave an alternative for most products!! No bread! No milk! No vinegar! No custard! Not even the right fizzy!! Waited over a hour for juice and margarine… it’s like the staff can’t be bothered collecting the products!! Seriously Steven sort your staff out!!

Unbelievable. 2 days ago I bought 3 fresh pineapples at $5:30 or similar. I just went to purchase more, as my family love them, and they have literally doubled in price to $10 in two days. Hideous!

It's okay if you only buy one or two items every time you go to this store. Otherwise, if you buy too many types, you will deliberately overcharge customers. Originally, the price was $3 for two lettuces, but the payment will be made at $1.98 each. Find it at the front desk. The front desk explained that this is the price. Too speechless, shopping in this store, I have had this experience many times. defraud consumers. Be careful after paying.

Pretty disappointed with the state of the fruit and veg section. Was shopping in the middle of the day on a Sunday, so not exactly an off-peak time. Mouldy pumpkin, mouldy strawberries, sad floppy yellow broccoli, gross cabbage. Overheard two staff members talking, one mentioned taking produce off the shelf against policy" because it smelled so bad. I love Spud Shed as an institution

My local groceries shopping place. Spacious. Clean. Wide variety of choices. Good service. Love the plants section as well.
