Wallam Creek, free camp

Great place to camp rough. if u camp closer to town, shower, and toilets if u follow the path towards the pub. Great meals, reasonable priced. Great hospitality at the local.

One of the best free camps in NSW that survive on donations. The place is clean and tidy with a flushing toilet that is shared with the cemetery adjacent. This has become one of our favourite sites to stop in as the village is very friendly and accommodating to tourists. Foods great and the whole town is clean and tidy.

Such a great donation camp. All the amenities we need and a nice walkway into town. Very welcoming town, really enjoyed our stay. Delicious feed at the pub, lots of local wildlife, nice river for kayaking.

Such a beautiful place to stay, with clean toilets and ok showers a short walk away. The pub will even deliver meals out to your van, how cool is that!

Rebuilding Amenities early June 2023 , so 1 toilet and no showers at moment. Showers available at Showground though!

What a really great find! Was travelling from Charleville heading south to nowhere in particular when we drove into town and found this little oasis. Lots of vans as you drive in but we were swagging it so drove a little further up the river and found a more secluded spot. The river is beautiful and so peaceful, all you could hear were the ducks splashing about. There is a well maintained toilet and free hot showers in town opposite the pub. Pub serves hot meals, cold drinks and a game of bingo so be sure to spend a bit of money and make a donation in the box by the toilet. We were more than happy to for this little gem. Oh and make sure you take a walk around the cemetary, especially at night and see the eery green glow coming from one of the sites.

Loved this area. Suitable for large rigs. Plenty of space to park. We were there when it was dry, but it would be slippery when wet. There are toilets near the cemetery. Dog friendly area

Great spot on the side of the river. Very clean and tidy grounds and facilities are well maintained and very clean. We will definitely stay again.
