I was travelling solo for work. Stayed two nights. Neat & tidy room. Clean bathrooms. Very yummy pub food. Quiet location with great view over the town. Friendly staff!

An iconic building in Walcha with some of the best pub food I have ever had and the owners are lovely people. Highly recommend dropping in when ever you are in Walcha!

4 out of 5: pub is great. Stunning view over the town, nice selection of beer and the staff, publican and patrons were welcoming. Well worth a stop if you’re passing through.3 out of 5 for the accommodation: we stayed in a beautiful queen room with a 5/5 view over the town. I would love to give our stay 4 or 5 but the experience could be a it more polished. Breakfast was lacklustre.

Grabbed some takeaway on the way through. I got carbonara and chips and gravy. Chips were burnt and carbonara was unpleasant.

Have been there a number of times over recent years - generally during an overnight stay in Walcha. Service is always good - and food has been good. This time, the food was disappointing. Massive meals - but lower quality and range than we have experienced in the past. I will definately go back again in the hope that this was a temporary situation.

Stopped in for a meal. Best steak I have had for a while. Chilly cold outside. Inside was nice and warm, a couple of wood fire places making it cosy and warm. Lovely happy staff.

Can't comment on rooms but service is 5 star. Location is picturesque and over looking the nice country town of Walcha.Having a nice cold beer on the veranda is definitely 5 star. All staff are friendly.The meal......I ordered a rump steak and not only was it quick to serve but holy smokes the plate was absolutely loaded. Skip a meal before hand as you may struggle to get through the perfectly cooked meal.Definitely such great service will recommend highly and we will return.Well done Walcha Commercial Hotel.

What a great meal our group of 25+ had here on Good Friday night. Good tucker and great, smiling service from the whole team. Compliments to the chef too! A good friendly atmosphere and we were all made to feel welcomed! Excellent and thank you.
