Nondescript Asian Takeaway, Down a Side Street in Rosewood.Had the Satay Chicken with Rice. Would Have Preferred Satay Beef, But, They Apparently ONLY Do Satay Chicken !!I Clearly Mentioned that I Would Be Dining In.At the Time, I Was the Only Patron.After a Little While, Someone Shouted “Satay Chicken & Rice”, & Put a Plastic Bag on the Counter. No Fork or Spoon we’re Inside the Bag.When I Opened The Plastic Container, The Contents Did NOT Look Appealing, Promising Or Appetising At All !!The Chicken, Consisted of Just 2 Strips Of VERY Tough Chicken, Sitting on Top of Rice, With a Splattering of Reasonably Tasty Satay Sauce.Certainly, NOT Worth $14 !!HAD BELLY GRUMBLES SHORTLY AFTERWARDS !!****** ******** ****** ******** ******** ******In Response to the Owner’s Comments.It’s True, That Satay Beef Is Not on the Menu.But, You DO Offer BEEF & Blackbean Also Mongolian BEEF. Why Not Provide Customers, With What They Would Like & Prefer !! ??It’s Called Customer Service & = Customer Satisfaction !!& “OBVIOUSLY” There Is NO “Silverware” On The Table OR ANYWHERE !!You Have A Plastic Container, With PLASTIC Forks & Spoons, That SHOULD Have Been Placed In The Bag, With The Food. When a Customer Says, They Are “Dining In” !!P.s I Should Be Charging You For This Advice !!

The food is amazing amd you always receive the best customer service! Beautiful family business, definitely worth stopping in for a feed

So, I ordered 3 burgers from here. Bearly any lettuce on them, bearly any sauce and the bread on all 3 super soggy. 2 steak works burgers had super thin stake that covered no more than half the buns. Customer service is always great, and chips are always good though. The only disappointing aspect I have to say is the burgers.

Since the new owners have taken over. There food is a thumbs down. There chips taste like there cooked in old used cooking oil. There burger buns don't have that fresh taste. And they ration there containers of fried rice etc. I use to love going there, along with my family. But not anymore. The prices are way too high.

They offer you your monies worth and it's your good old great aussie take away shop, just like when you was young and you have your go to all time favorite chips and gravy! Yes it's Jimmy's everytime. They do great burgers and sweet chicken chilli wraps, pork ribblet rolls and much much more, even sweet potato scollops. I am a happy customer. Keep up the good work

I ordered a hamburger, chips and drink.The food was ok, the service was ordinary.

I have had the works burger and fish and chips from this place. Both delicious. Staff are friendly and wait times are reasonable. Will return.

I've made quite a few visits to this shop and am speaking from experience.The staff have always been polite when ordering my meals, (usually fish & chips, dim sims etc) but when ordering anything that comes from the fryer it more often than not comes out horrible. The food cooked is too dark and sometimes soaked with oil.I don't know if the oil used is old, at the wrong temperature or the food is just left in too long.When spending good money for takeaway food I don't think its an unreasonable expectation that you end up sitting down to a nice tasting meal.There's not a lot of takeaway options in Rosewood and its disappointing but I won't be returning Jimmy's.Just responding to the comment left by the owners;I don't think customers should have to point out to you that your food is either overcooked or soaked in oil. You're cooking it, look at it before you wrap it up and give it to your customer.Fried food should be golden brown, not dark brown. Your business is after all fish and chips"!!I feel I've given you guys the opportunity before writing this review to cook a decent meal....multiple times

Great food, service and value.

Friendly staff, tasty and quick traditional takeaway shop fare, good value.Their burgers are great, no skimping on ingredients.
