We had my dad's funeral there in November last year, Amiee was amazing and kind and made the whole stressful process so much easier and the other staff and priest they had were incredible, it still hurts not having my dad around but they helped ease that and made sure everything went smoothly.Losing a loved one is hard but if you want compassion, great advice and caring staff they're definitely the ones to go to

Parsons Funeral Directors are well known in the area and that is why we chose to use them to farewell my late grandfather.The company organised one of their Funeral Directors, Wes, to attend our family home to plan the funeral at the time that was most convenient to us. This was late on a Friday afternoon and it didn’t once appear an inconvenience to him.From the time Wes first introduced himself to our family, there was an instant warmness to his character and a comforting familiarity as we chatted about our pets and mutual friends in the area. The visit wasn’t all ‘business’, it was a nice, casual yet professional conversation whilst we discussed what we wanted in the service.In the days that followed leading up to the funeral, Wes kept in touch with my family, seeing how we were coping and updated us on the plans for the service. He was able to find a beautiful version of the song we requested and sent us the link to make sure we were happy with it. Wes has a genuine, caring personality and you can see he just wants things to run as smoothly as possible for your final farewell to your loved one. It was so reassuring to know that.Wes also arranged for a lovely Celebrant to visit my family and learn about my grandfather’s life. The celebrant mentioned that she likes to make each service personalised and unique to honour the lives of those who’ve passed and this is exactly what she did on the day.On the day of the service, my family were greeted outside the funeral home by Wes and the celebrant. They both made sure we were all ok before facing friends and family in the chapel and then took us inside.The chapel is a modest but intimate venue. It has a calm, inviting atmosphere. There was nice, soft music playing whilst everyone arrived and the service was simple and beautiful, exactly what we wanted.There was time after the service to have light refreshments in the kitchen area attached to the chapel and Wes didn’t make it seem like there was a hurry to leave. It just felt so relaxed.Thank you Wes and Parsons Funeral Directors for making such a difficult time and process so easy and seamless.

H.Parsons were very professional to deal with but also very compassionate . Our family has used Parsons now twice both for my Mother 3 years ago and now for my Dad and they were kind and thoughtful and made sure we farewell our family member how we would like. Especially now in these times of uncertainty and restrictions placed on them they still made our farewell of Dad special. We would like to thank Wes for looking after us.
