Kangaroo Valley Escapes

We had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful property in town with friends and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality and cleanliness throughout. KVE were fantastic to deal with, provided wonderful local recommendations and we look forward to staying at another quality property in the near future.

Accommodation was lovely and close to restaurants and cafes. The one thing I can say is that the shower did leak all over the bathroom floor which was annoying.

The staff at KVE were responsive, and the property we booked from them was beautifully located, however it was not sufficiently cleaned, and lacking insulation suffered from an infestation of caterpillars which were able to get into the property by the dozens. We spent a large part of our stay removing them, & blocking their entry points into the house via the gaps between doors. We needed to relocate our kids to sleep in our room, as one of the rooms was just unusable.According to KVE this is all part of the country experience. We did manage to sit back and relax for a short while after a few hours of pest control...

Kangaroo Valley Escapes offer excellent service with a host of first class properties. They go above and beyond to deliver an excellent offering and am looking forward to them helping me organise a significant birthday with a zero next year!

Beautiful property, would recommend it to all

Booked a gorgeous property on Stayz 7 months in advance for my partners birthday. My booking came with a 100% refund if I cancelled before 13/09. Due to the ongoing restrictions and lockdown in Greater Sydney, I cancelled in August. I was emailed by the property manager at Kangaroo Valley Escapes outlining my refund would be processed less an “administration fee”. After receiving the refund I compared this figure with the amount I should have received in full, and calculated a $150 difference. After explaining to the property manager that I booked through Stayz and my confirmation shows I am entitled to a 100% refund before 13/09 I was told that when guests book through Stayz, the booking is then sent to Kangaroo Valley Escapes and their terms and conditions now override the terms and conditions I agreed to on Stayz. I was also given a link to follow to their terms and conditions, terms and conditions I had not seen before or agreed to. I made contact with Stayz who confirmed I was entitled to a 100% refund, and they made contact with Kangaroo Valley Escapes on my behalf and the property manager had then “agreed to refund” the $150 fee.Now that I have received the entirety of my refund, I am left wondering how many other people Kangaroo Valley Escapes have done this to. It is completely misleading to send someone terms and conditions they have not seen before or agreed to and say that these new terms and conditions “override” what you have agreed to.AVOID.

Kangaroo Valley Escapes always provides amazing service whenever we need an escape to paradise (i.e. Kangaroo Valley)! Jane is so helpful and always goes that extra mile. I highly recommend Kangaroo Valley Escapes when booking your next escape!
