Very friendly and cake a beautiful would order again

New management, lovely staff, cakes are decorated better.** Updated review!!I got delivered via uber 1/4 slice of a tiramisu torte and a double choc strawberry torte.I ate it immediately... Sponge tasted dry...Soft, yet dry...I was very sad and disappointed.My husband helped me eat some. We both couldn't finish any of the 1/4 slices. Put in the fridge overnight.Next morning went to try to finish it... the leftovers taste amazing!!?It was a night and day difference! MOIST and flavourful!?Now I'm thinking maybe we got it so fresh that the sponge and everything didn't blend the flavours and moisten?? Because if it was actually overbaked or stale, surely putting it in the fridge overnight wouldn't change anything, would only dry it or more if anything...

We pre ordered a pav for Xmas day.The pav was absolutely perfect, did not disappoint

Ordered a cake here paid in full for pick up.I spelt the name out when I made the order (you can see on the receipt).There was a new lady on the front counter but the owner was there making sure she put my order in correctly.Picked up the cake a few days later and super dissatisfied; name spelt WRONG! I wanted the writing on the cake not a plaque and the box was filthy.3 stars because the cake was good but these little things need to be improved for the prices they charge!

This franchisee needs to calm down. My mother in law went to pick up a cake strictly said it was an order for half, manager still gave her the full cake. Took the cake home then received a call we were only meant to give you half a cake". No worries I'll just ask my guests to stop eating and ill return it" and then was hung up on. Also the cake was not fresh. I'll be contacting head office."

This shop is local to us, but they don’t pay their workers. Owner says he trains workers for three weeks and they won’t be paid anything!

SUPPORTS FREE CHILD LABOURMy friend used to work here and they were told that they would get paid for their training shifts. They didn’t. 16 hours of unpaid child labour.

The price charged is different from display lists in fridge. Please ask how much do u pay before u buy cakes?I was confusing of payment, the staff explained that the recipient change and charged more. I don't mind to pay 2 dollars for extra but I can't accept the reason for charged.

Purchased a chocolate cake from the Avondale store. It was so bad, so dry... and they didn't mix the icing right it looked like some of it had split. Disappointed. It Must be the change of management. as it wasn't like this oreviously.
