Birchwood Retreat
The cabin was extremely large, very big bathroom. Only let-down was having all the beds in one room. The kitchen was terrific, there is a wood heater in the lounge room, and the view from the back verandah was spectacular.

A delightfully welcoming cottage. Loved the wood burning fireplace, comfortable bed, big veranda overlooking horse field and forest and fresh loaf of bread.

Highly recommend this great little home away from home. A wonderful young family runs the place with honesty and good old country hospitality. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we will return. Make sure you bring extra food for the native birds to dine with you @ the BBQ. AAA+

Clean and tidy but a few kms out of town if you’re wanting to get a meal from a local hostelry… “continental” breakfast is a loaf of bread and some jars of peanut butter or jam… box of cereal and some milk in fridgeTook a while for owners to get back to us after we made booking and a bit of clarity needed on pricing information
