Henley Homes - Head Office

I really wish I didn’t have to do this negative review just in an attempt to solve my issue with Henley. I am not even building with them, however I am building with another builder next to someone who is building with Henley. Their house is 3/4 finished and for the entire build they have not organised power to the site, and the tradies contracted by Henley cannot work unless they piggy back off my site and use my power. I have been irritated and called Henley a few months ago and was promised their site supervisor would contact me, however this never happened and this continued. My house is now finished and I am about to move in and they are still using my power. When I move in there there is no way I am allowing this to continue - it’s trespassing! The only reason I let it go on is that I feel sorry for the tradies as I am one myself, and I’m a reasonable person - it’s not their fault. It’s Henleys. Get your act together Henley. Trying to save money by not organising powered sites - this is highly unprofessional.

Shout out to my supervisor Jordan who helped throughout my journey in building my home. Although, there were some miscommunication to start with but as soon as I communicated my expectations, Jordan always went out of the way to help in any matter related to my home. I would definitely recommend Jordan and would love to have him as my supervisor in future builds as well.

I wish i could give zero star. I've had nothing but problems with this company and their home assurance department. Don't be fooled by what they show you on their display houses. The actual product looks nothing like the display home.

We are currently at pre construction stage with Henley, and to date they have been a breeze to deal with, extremely transparent and detailed, we look forward to the commencement of our build in the next few months

Stay far away!!!! Over half a million dollar house leaking first year living in and when you call them they book for an “inspection” a month later.. everytime it’s raining the water leak becomes worse but there’s nothing they can do about it because it’s the only available appointment they have, that’s what they told me.. and when I asked what am I supposed to do put buckets underneath she said sorry can’t do anything about it...Months later and still nothing, they’ve sent a maintenance guy to check he found the problem he “thinks” and still haven’t been contacted to fix any of it..floors are cooked from the rain dripping in everytime it rains..Update: they don’t pick up the phones now it’s been 2 weeks Olivia doesn’t return the calls, she’s responsible for the homes in the west,no email replies either generic email that they are too busy they will get back to me..NOT A GOOD SIGN FOR HENLEY and yes still damages not fixedUPDATE after a month of them coming and apparently servicing the whole roof got another bad leak in the pantry everything going to the bin.. useless company

I am so extremely disappointed with Henley Homes. I have had so much patience throughout the build because I understood that delays were out of their control and trades shortage, material shortages could sometimes not be helped. What has disappointed me was the treatment we got at settlement and post settlement. We were pressured and pushed by our site supervisor to settle our home with lots of things outstanding by reassuring us so much that things will be done and told us trades have already been booked post settlement. Over a month later and we are still waiting on 98% of things on our outstanding list. We put trust into the people that build our homes as we expected that they have integrity in their workmanship. I am a nurse that works in a trauma hospital. I work very hard so that patients can trust me when they are overwhelmed and don’t know what to expect. Construction and house building is not my area of expertise, so I put trust in the people that specialise in these areas for a reason. And I’m saddened and disappointed to have been treated the way we have. I will never recommend Henley to anyone and I will tell everyone I know to not even think about building with Henley.

They rendered the front of our house where we wanted brickwork exposed and then advised they could do nothing about it, hard to get responses from/changed staff/supervisors regularly to add to the confusion, poor quality paint work, hard to follow up with or get any reasonable resolutions. Do yourself a favour, save your time & hard eared money and look elsewhere.

I am so disappointed about the service which I'm getting from Henley. They are volume builders which I understand but the service which I have received so far is far below than expected. This is my second home and I liked a particular floorplan by Henley. I was choosing between Henley and Carlisle homes this time and I was wrapped with the follow up and service which I got from Carlisle Homes. The only reason I chose Henley is because of the floor plan and my excitement level with Henley is 1/10 at the moment. Right from the beginning, the colour selection, electrical appointments are so far below average. I got a survey call soon after the colour selection and I have mentioned this as a constructive feed back. No response at all from the team & I felt like I've wasted my time doing the survey. Once an appointment or a alteration is made there is no communication for 2 - 3 weeks and by the time you receive an amended contract you will not remember half of what was discussed. At this time of uncertainty, interest rate hikes, possibility of recession I think these people need to give at least good service to customers. Nothing is permanent, things will change, sellers market will change to buyers market. Word of mouth and customer service is an integral part of any business. I was recommended by a friend but I wouldn't recommend Henley.Last but not the least, if you think these google reviews are someone else experiences...yes its soon going to be yours as well when you choose Henley. I felt the same when I read all the previous reviews but now I understood that its so very true.

If you don't want to struggle with an unprofessional site manager and supervisors, go to another builder. Also, be ready to pay the extra amount which you will know once they call you. They will be very nice until you sign the contract and then the rude part will be started.

I wish I could give zero stars. The sales process is all nice and cosy. When it comes down to the business end of the build, forget that you will get any good customer service, communication and quality of work. I went with Henley purely because of the big name" and their "inclusions" were better than the rest. Please don't bother
