The Australian was an almost typical pub venue. The menu had a decent variety of dishes and the specials board had a few more than average. All of which gave a broader than average choice. The food itself was cooked well and the proportions were generous. The wait staff were friendly and tried hard to keep up but they seemed under staffed and the children's meals come out with a large time lapse and our meals even more but they were worth the wait. Great value and if happily go back.

I have been here a few times recently, and the food has been good! Only thing to complain about is the veggies, they are a bit over cooked and dry, the tex Parma was really good!

I had the Senior's roast, and it was plenty big enough. The lamb was nicely cooked and the veggies enjoyable. Great coffee.

Combined Mother's Day & Matriarchs birthday dinner for 24 incl 12 kids.The food was good but the older woman taking taking orders was abrupt to the point of open hostility. Having someone of this nature as front of house detracted from the younger waitresses, who were genuinely friendly. We took in our own birthday cake from an external business, which was refrigerated until we were ready for it. They also provided a sharp knife, plates, spoons & asked if we had a lighter for the candles.Kid friendliness needs improvement.

Very good food but abit expensive. 2 people 60 $ 2 plates and one jug of beer. Very good staff and ambiance. You can see the austral pasta" it s very good"
