North Shore Honda Service (previously known as Scotts Honda)

I have utilised Scott's Honda for 7 routine services over a 4 year period.Never had an issue with customer service or workmanship. The team does a fantastic job all-round and I have been very happy.Vehicle always ready at the described collection time, always washed and vacuumed (albeit could be a better wash). No complaints whatsoever.Some reviews here are quite harsh and uncalled for in my opinion.The service centre is run by humans. Humans make mistakes.

Only recently took my car to Scotts Honda for servicing since last year, and I wanted to commend a true asset to the team Chris McKay. The obvious fact of appointment times are pretty much spread in groups between the hour, the staff work hard to check customers in clusters as we arrive and help provide a comfortable and positive experience. Chris on all three occasions has surpassed all expectations and genuinely cares for the business and the customers he interacts with. Super knowledgable and hospitable. The specialists who worked on our car did a great job as well and will definitely recommend the North Shore Honda Service team to any Honda owners. Thank you Chris and team, keep up the great work.

Pretty useless. Can't even provide a quote after promising. Never calls/emails back and never picks up the phone.

No longer have the courtesy shuttle, arrived at agreed 4.30p collection time but was kept waiting for another 25mins. About to shift buildings, current location is rundown.

Don't take your car to this place! They don't even deserve one star in this review. I took my car there to fix a VSA light indicator coming up on the dash. I ended up taking my car there 5 times and paid 3 invoices to get this one issue fixed. They wouldn't refund me the first 2 invoices for parts and labour that they charged me, which didn't fix my car. When they finally fixed the problem I drove my car for 5 minutes and it broke down on the main road as they didn't tighten the leads on my car battery. They also broke the clock in my car, and completely denied all fault, and didn't fix it. Horrible experience, never again! I called Honda head office for assistance, and was told that they couldn't help me as they were independent from the repairer. Head office could only call them and ask the manager to call me to resolve the issue, which they said they did. However I never received a call from the manager. Customer service is very bad, are completely incompetent and will happily charge you for their incompetence. For many years I highly rated honda cars, however after this experience I will never ever buy a Honda ever again. It seems the car manufacturer only cares for sales, and wants nothing to do with repairs. My trust and loyalty is now zero with Honda.

Bought my car form them, Full service history with them for the last 5 years and yet they are too busy to give me a pink slip, suggesting me to go elsewhere. Just shows their lack of basic customer service. Pink slip literaly takes 10 min. Wont use them ever again

I won't be returning to North Shore Honda after my experience today. I also suggest to everyone, ladies in particular, do your research and question quotes for items outside of your regular servicing costs.I was made to wait until people that arrived after me were served first (making me unnecessarily late for work - I'd purposely arrived early to be first in and first out), given a loan car with no fuel (but 'helped out' by having the $20 worth of fuel subtracted from my bill - detouring for fuel made me even later to work) and then quoted basically the most expensive tyres you can get for my car without even being told what tyre was being quoted! Luckily, I knew I was looking at new tyres soon and had quotes I'd obtained prior. When I questioned the cost, I was told 'oh yeah, you probably don't need tyres like that'.I was not informed of, or given the choice to repair, a puncture to one tyre that they decided wasn't worth repairing and replaced with my space saver without informing me. I have subsquently had that tyre fixed and was told, by a TYRE SHOP, that I have about 5,000km left on my tyres. Enough that it wasn't as 'dire' as explained to me.Save yourself the time, energy and frustration at the indifference of the staff by going elsewhere. I will be.

The staff were friendly and very informative. The service is always great. The only negative is that they stop the free transfer to the train station. It's only a 15-minute walk but it was raining. I was told they will be restarting that service.

Wow have things transformed or what ! I’ve been visiting Scott’s Honda (now North Shore Honda) for years. This place has always been good to me and my car until six months ago when things didn’t go well. In fact, things went so wrong that I was furious and dropped them a hard review on google. Just a few hours after I dropped a review, I got a call from the centre’s new General Manager. First thing I noticed was that she wasn’t afraid of having a hard conversation and actually, she welcomed it. She listened carefully and then she explained to me how the business had gone through a difficult transformation and how new processes and skills were being embedded. She promised me that when I come in next time (and if I did), I will see the difference. This morning (after a month since we spoke) I walked in for my scheduled service and immediately took note of how the checkin had become so much more efficient, the service manager - Chris was full of positive energy, he was thorough with all my car details well noted, clearly explained service routine and an amazingly prompt case closure upon collection. I also got several call backs days before my appointment for extras that I needed help with. To top it off, I was delighted to see Wendy still at the reception desk during these hard times. She’s always made this place feel great with her courtesy and kind nature. Times are tough and people and families are doing it tough. And people like Wendy smile back even when it’s rough going. I’m glad to see the new GM - Katerina has indeed made some great changes but has also valued and retained the most important part of the service team like Wendy who make this place really human and positive. Great going Honda Team. Great leadership from the new GM (who’s demonstrated what good leadership can do) and great recovery by the entire service team from a temporary set back. I’m back to being a big fan again !
