Spent 2 nights at leura house. We absolutely loved the old 1880s building and antique furniture. Great value for money. Lovely deep bath, room was spacious and clean, bed was hard for me but my partner loved it. Our room upstairs overlooked the beautiful back garden, We sat under the mozzie net with a few drinks. Friendly staff. Don't expect modern.Best start ever. Can't wait to come back soon.

Even though I was one person, I stayed in the honeymoon suite, as it was all that was available for a walk in booking. Rate was reasonable. The house itself has loads of charm, the room was large, clean and tidy. Bed very comfortable.Everything is a bit old, however having being built in 1880, one cant expect it to be brand new. I will stay here again when I return to the area.

My sister and I had rooms at Leura House earlier this week for 1 night only and we found our stay at this historic building to be absolutely delightful. The rooms were very clean, they were spacious and quiet, I had a large bathtub, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Mysister easily did the short walk to and from Leura shops. Gary was very helpful and more than happy to provide any information that we required , and with a sense humour! Overall, this place was great value for money.

Very charming authentic house, wonderful breakfast, host was very friendly.Only downside is the smell of mould when entering the family room (1st floor) as well as the visible black mould stains on the ceiling (near the windows).

This is the worst of the worst place to stay. The mildewed carpet & curtains have made my partner so ill. The smell is so vile it caused me to vomit. The pictures are misleading & out dated. The heaters don’t work, the bed has springs digging into your back. I will be calling NSW health after my stay as I feel the property had hygiene issues & mould which should be addressed before allowing guests to stay. I will be taking action as my health has suffered. I was so shocked by the lack of customer service & amount of dust blowing around the property. It is the worst place I have ever stayed in, worse then a hostel in Amsterdam!

The place was nice enough but I think that a lot of photos and some statements on the website were dated and misleading. The beautiful gardens are now average and the full English breakfast turned out to be a very average continental breakfast!!! So while nice enough certainly not value for money.

We loved our 3 nights at Leura House. Beautiful quiet place to relax and enjoy. Beautiful gardens, close to Leura Mall and Alexandra Hotel for dinner. Garry (host) was friendly and informative but not intrusive. His wife Laura cooked very tasty breakfasts. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in this heritage home. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, 1 star is the lowest rating I can give for a stay that never happened. My daughter was married yesterday in Leura. We booked 1 night at this place months ago for me, my sister and brother-in-law. I was surprised to see that full payment was taken from my credit card at the time of booking.Arrived late yesterday afternoon to find it abandoned, with a piece of paper on the door stating Closed for repairs". No phone call

As the owner was happy to reveal, Leura house is the oldest house in Leura and it shows both inside and out. The room had strategically placed rugs and paintings to cover up structural wear and tear. The floor dipped in places with a wedge underneath the fridge (which wasn’t turned on for our arrival) to stabilise it. The continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, with only cereals and toast and without any hot food. The water heaters were entirely controlled by the owner rather than the comfort of the guests paying to stay there. To make it worse, our room was right next to the door out to a smoking platform and we could hear every time someone would leave and enter. The price was not worth it; not going back.
