Metropolitan Vehicle Identity Assessment Station

As usual 4 hours of my life I will never get back. The inspector clearly had no personality.

Gates are open early. Get there before 8am if possible, you will find few people line up already. Make sure you know which tier inspection you are doing beforehand. The form they give doesn't have a dedicated box for your mobile number so just write somewhere it can be clearly seen. The inspector will call you when it's your turn. Also, have your VIN/Chassis number with you because you will need those when you fill the form if you are going for an identity inspection.

Takes absolutely forever waiting in the queue. But the actual assessment and staff were friendly and speedy

Professional but expect a wait of about an hour. There is a nice tuck shop on the same block though

Pretty crowded. On crutches so was easy to hop from the disabled parking to counter where a lovely front desk lady helped me and me to see the right people to adjust my GVM on my 4x4.All were friendly and helpful. I have stuff to do now as I was well guided so thanks all involved

Had my car inspected at here yesterday and it only took me about half an hour. Really kind staff and they were highly professional:)

Rang up to ask how busy they were and explain I was 15 minutes away, should I come down?Yes that would be fine

Was hard to spot from the street, I rode past it 3 times (no GPS don't judge me). Once inside the gated area, parking was insufficient, people were having to park in no parking areas. The person at the desk said it would be an hour, and it was. That seems a normal wait. There is a cafe (not related) at the front of the area which was a great place to have an eat and drink while waiting. The inspection was pretty straightforward. Staff were friendly and helpful.What could be better would be more seating, a coffee or vending machine or even a TV in the waiting area. There were toilets available.

Why are there car yard vehicles left in the parking area for days on end taking up valuable daily parking space for light and heavy vehicles. Heavy vehicle's have almost not area to turn around. Staff cars are parked in the designated inspection shed.
