Best Western Plus Launceston

Not the greatest hotel, but as been the cheapest in Launceston you get what you pay for. Room was clean, bathroom was dated and not very clean. Great location.

They allow me to check in early, great customer service. Hand soap and shower gel smell bad and make my skin really dry, if they could change that it would be amazing

My stay at the Best Western Plus Launceston was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who made me feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with comfortable and spacious rooms that are equipped with all the necessary amenities.One of the things I loved most about this hotel was its location. It's situated right in the heart of Launceston, which meant I was able to easily explore the city's many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Despite its central location, the hotel was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, allowing me to relax and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing.The hotel's on-site restaurant, Gorge Restaurant, was a true highlight of my stay. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable.Overall, I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus Launceston to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in this charming city. Leon and Jack are incredible doing well in making sure a real Tassie Experience is delivered through Best Western Plus Launceston. Stayed 3 nights. Nice comfy bed and a clean room. Bathroom was last updated in the 90s and had cracked tiles and corroded taps. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Was not told of the charge for parking my car as a guest until I checked out which was a little disappointing.

Stayed here a few nights ago.This is an older property, though conveniently located. Rooms are dated but clean enough for a couple of nights.There was an issue with the hot water system during our first night that affected the entire hotel. However the staff handled it exceptionally well despite the stressful period. We were offered a refund for the night and complimentary breakfast the next day to make up for it.Of particular mention is the hotel manager, Anita who did a brilliant job in managing the situation. Anita was calm, composed and professional throughout the entire period dealing with tens of customers affected by the situation. Keep up the good work and you have my full appreciation for excellent customer service recovery!

Thanks to the helpful Ryan, he saved our stay from becoming a complete bummer! I registered before coming here and was instructed I would be enrolled in as member of their club and would be completed over at Reception but the lady did not mention it and she seemed eager to get rid of us. I am truly disappointed as I thought our room also has a bath tub. It could be my fault as I have booked a few hotels just before coming here for our other trips overseas and for other domestic ones. I can safely say after traveling to more than 30+ countries this place will not be in my top three fave places. But it is just walking distance to dining options and shopping and most of all very near my fave City Park. Parking was not a problem for us unlike what I read in some reviews. Will we return? I'm not sure, we'll see tomorrow.

Tried to book a room for me and the family, the operator told us the room which we were booked into was pet friendly. Called the next morning, a different (possibly) operator let me know otherwise when I thought my accommodation for the night was secured, when I tried to ask more, the operator on the other side straight up hang up on me. Thanks Best Western, the credibility in the words proceeded out of the mouth of your employees are incoherent and your service before I even get to stay in there are terrible.2/10 would not recommend.

The hotel is in a premium location in Launceston, close to local attractions and walking distance to the National theatre. Unfortunately the rooms are very basic. No extraction fan or ventilation in the bathroom, not ideal in a wet room, so the room steams up and doesn’t get rid of smells. No hairdryer provided in the room. When ringing reception to enquire about one, I was told she would look into it. Didn’t get the hairdryer until the next morningParking is available but not many spots so it’s first in first served. If you move your car you lose your car spot. Staff are friendly and courteous. Breakfast is expensive for what is on offer as a buffet at $25

Central & well appointed for the very affordable price; independent heating/cooling, good lighting, fabulous pillows & mattress, mini bar, iron, safe, nice organic products in the bathroom. Spacious room, helpful staff, cheap parking. I only stayed for one night prior to a conference but would do so again for any reason as it’s right in the CBD. There are some elements of this hotel that don’t look very ‘high end’ but when it’s spotlessly clean & you have everything you need, it doesn’t matter.

Best Western Launceston is a basic, but clean, safe, comfortable well-priced hotel in the centre of Launceston.It's well positioned for the Botanic Gardens and monkey enclosure, right in the centre of the city, and not too far from the river.The room had everything you'd need, or expect, for this price.But what raised the place for me was the service.On a badly delayed flight I didn't arrive until after midnight, but the night manger appeared swiftly, helped me check in, and never once complained about being dragged to the front desk in the middle of the night.
