Australia Post - Brunswick East LPO

Never open on time! It's 8:30 on Monday and they were supposed to be open at 8...

Charged an exorbitant $55 fee for postage and was told it was a flat rate 'due to the size of the item'.To test this, I went to another post office nearby with the same item packaged the same way to the same address, $25 as per what I typically pay.The fact this place is still operating is astounding, save yourself the headache and conduct your business elsewhere.

They don’t open on time. 5 minutes late. Never say hi never sorry.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I come here often and am greeted so warmly. Always so helpful to assist me if I have any issues. I am always so grateful when my parcels are dropped off here because I know it will be safe.

NEW owner’s now & trust me …They go above & beyond.Their incredibly respectful, polite, hard working & able to make whatever your request possible, & WITHOUT any drama/stress.I went in there at 5:30pm on a Tuesday regarding government forms/photo’s & more …All had to be supported by a tonne of personal ID, for my new high risk work licenses.They were cool as a cucumber, even though they were closing soon & the line was rapidly increasing & while I was busy with one of only 2 staff members !

Always friendly and helpful. I find people with poor reviews are probably not being kind or empathetic in their interactions. I always smile, ask them how they are going, don’t tell them how to do their jobs or get up in their space and try and rifle through (other people’s) mail myself. Try some patience and understanding. And support them if you can/want to. Buy a drink, magazine or top up your myki. They are a post office outlet, but they are also a newsagent!

If there was 0 star I would definitely give 0. The lady couldn’t find my parcel in the beginning. She asked me to wait for a few minutes so she could serve other customers first. It was understandable. So I glanced at the parcel storage room to try to look for it myself (and there were parcels at the public walk way but I didn’t touch anything). She yelled at me “Don’t do that. Or I’ll get into trouble.” And angrily shut the door. The second time she looked for the parcel, I just stood behind her and waited. She yelled at me to stay away from her. I never expected such as bad and rude customer service and will not come back again unless really need to. Also hope my parcel will be delivered to another post office next time.

Staff at this PO went over-&-above to find a missing parcel for me. Despite me not being a regular customer here, they spent considerable time and effort to locate it (the sender had got just about everything totally wrong). They were calm and friendly, and persisted where others would have given up. I am most grateful to them!

This is my new post office after having recently moved to the area, and the staff here are so nice and helpful. The kind of people that will work with you to get something done or resolve an issue. They've gone above and beyond for me several times, and have a lot of patience. Very happy with the service here. Thank you :)

They do not answer calls I'm on the side of the town trying to track my parcel as it says its there. Last time I'm ever using Australia post. The parcel was meant to be sent from one suburb to the next. It's been 15 days and they travelled past my house twice and took it back to the other side of Melbourne. Australia post sack all your employees and start all over again. Your workers are lazy and do not understand the meaning of work.
