I was in the mood for a brand new style cut and blow dry this morning and Salon Express was the 'only' salon in Orion Springfield that could accommodate me as a walk in. I had the best experience with Sadie who spent the time restyling my hair perfectly …just as i wanted! Thank you once again i look forward to returning again soon!

I moved to the area 5 years ago and this became my go to hairdresser until the end of last year when I had a negative experience. There was one staff member and no customers when I approached the desk and for the first time I was told to go the barbers around the corner. I told her that I have being coming here for years and have never been asked to go elsewhere. She reluctantly sat me down, made disparaging remarks about my lack of hairstyle, she was impatient, rude and dismissive. Haven't been back since...

Second time I have taken my 2yo to get his haircut, very impressed with every aspect of the service. Serena has done his hair both times and I couldn't compliment her enough for her care and attention to detail. Getting your toddler's hair cut can be an ordeal but not here. Very impressed and will continue to bring him. Thank you.

I took my 3 year old here and the hairdresser said my daughter should stay still in certain position all the time if not she will get a crazy hair cut and she can’t change it once it is done. She was not good at dealing with kids, and keep saying that she is going to have a crazy hair cut although my child was staying still the best that she could. She was rude and I had to ask if there are any other staffs who are good with kids, and she said she is and after that onwards she was being nice to my child. The hair cut was uneven at the end and I don’t want to deal with the unfriendly hairdresser again, so I paid and left the shop. I am never going to step into this shop anymore. And I want to ask the owner to not reply to this comment with a template “we take all complaints seriously and please email us with more details “ because if you want to truly rectify this issue please do it here. Please train your staff to put a smile on their face and accomodate to the customers.

Been to this place to get a hair cut done for my 8months year old baby. When I asked if you do hair cuts for babies the staff said we do and there is a wait time for an hour. She was a very nice staff member. I came back after an hour and there was a different staff member and she said she can do a hair cut and it’s cost $27 I said yes it’s fine. She was with a big attitude not happy or not talking with me or with my baby. After few minutes she said it’s done. I said can you please trim bit more or even if you can use a clipper. She said this is what I can do I can’t do anything else and I don’t won’t to cut babies skin, not enough hair this and that. I do work in a business in Orion shopping Center and I also do work as a customer service staff. That would be the first and the last at this place. Should train staff to be more professional. Or businesses should not do baby hair cuts if they can’t do. Can’t recommend this place to kids.

I got my hair done today by Em and she was so lovely and professional! She really listened to my wants and helped as best she could in my price range! Claire the manager (I think her name was Claire sorry if I’m wrong) was so helpful and professional aswell. I loved being able to walk in and get my hair done without needing an appointment, sure I had to wait maybe 10 mins but I do in most salons anyway! Would highly recommend and will be back! Both these girls are an absolutely asset to the company!!! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Very disappointed. I visited this salon a few weeks ago and showed the lady who did my hair clear photos of the blonde I was trying to achieve. The lady told me the photos I showed her were achievable in the appointment I had that day. By the end of the appointment the whole top part of my hair was yellow and not at all close to the colour I wanted. I tried to say something to the lady to let her know I wasn’t happy with the colour and that it looked very yellow however, she tried to blame this on the salons lighting. After going home that day everyone told me it was yellow and that it was not just the lighting. I went to another salon to try to fix this and even they said the foils had bled through my roots and that the hair was very yellow. Even after having it partially fixed my roots are still very yellow and I am very unhappy with the way my hair looks and that I spent nearly $600 on hair I am not happy with.

Went in to get a haircut which due to previous experiences in other salons, is usually pretty stressful for me. The staff were amazing and super accommodating. Was in straight away and felt super confident with the lady who cut my hair. Really cheap too. Thanks so much! Will definitely be back

Always get my haircut here, always happy with end result and prices are good
