O'Donohue Picnic Ground
Great spot for a Bbq. We come here often. Kick a ball around on the grass and walk to the falls. The bird life is lovely to watch as you enjoy your lunch. Will continue to be our go to spot! My children love it here!

Lovely summer day track with heaps of shade. Quiet picnic ground with well kept toilets.

Not a bad little park with toilets and disabled toilets but no change table facilities for baby’s. Nice walk to the falls, pram access to about 3/4 of the way then a narrow gate and stairs at the end down to the bridge over the falls.

September 2021 - a lot of the tracks are still closed due to recent storm damage. But you can still park here and walk along part of O'Donohue Track and then join up with part of Sherbrooke Track. Signs of work by the local government workers so hopefully more will be open in coming months.

Please note as of 1 August 2021 the trail to Sherbrooke falls is closed - probably storm damage. The toilet block is closed as well. There are other walking trails though.

Not a huge picnic ground but has all you need. Bbq, clean toilets... . Great starting point if you want to go for a short walk.

We were joined by a bus load of tourists when we arrived! It is very close to Sherbrooke Picnic Ground, each well served by toilets and car parking. The Sherbrooke Pic Ground is almost opposite the famous and sophisticatedly designed Alfred Nicoles Garden - a must to visit! We walked past the Sherbrooke Falls and did the 11km hike anticlockwise as shown in the map attached. All downhill except for Lidcombe Track and part of Welsh Track. Those energetic ones should do clockwise to experience more upward hills!! Lovely hike indeed. Best part is stopping for coffee and cake at the Grants Picnic Ground!

This picnic ground was quiet lovely. It had a nice oval of grass and an area of picnic tables in the shade. Well kept toilets and a great place to start the short walk to the Sherbrooke Falls

I unfortunately didn’t take any photos, however it is a nice grass area with amenities on site. Easy access to the Sherbrooke Falls trail. There are no bbqs though, you are permitted to bring your own gas bbq, however please take your rubbish with you as there are no bins.
