I am surprised there is not a single bin to dispose waste. People are littering all over park and in public toilets. If there was a bin then ppl wudnt litter everywhere. Carry your rubbish with own is not possible in all locations. I recommend parks Victoria to consider putting a bin in this location.

A sheltered picnic and BBQ area with good views. 2 hot-plates but only 1 heats fully; the other barely. Reported to the Shire for the last 4 years...

Arthurs Seat Summit - BBQ
It's the perfect place for a picnic/barbecue. Its 6 tables and 2 (free) barbecues are all under cover, enabling use in sunny, hot or rainy weather. The 2 barbecue hotplates are cleaned every morning, although I have repeatedly complained to the Shire that the outer plate does not get hot, only just above warm. The wildlife loves to visit - and will steal food if you're not watchful. It's within walking distance to the Eagle and the public toilets, with a spare, covered double-BBQ stand close by. There is a large grassed area for kids to run around. There is also a gateway into the Sea Winds national park across the road.
