Bishops Palace

My daughter got married there on the 18th of May. I've never seen such a perfect place for a wedding. Bishops Palace,feels like a palace and my daughter looked like a princess,in such an amazing venue.I recommend bishops place as highly as I can. Such a beautiful estate,gorgeous gardens,beatiful place. Just perfect.

We had an amazing time at Bishops Palace. It was a weekend none of us will ever forget. My wife and I took the master suite for the first night. With the master sitting room, I'm pretty sure you could have fitted our friends whole holiday house in the master space. The building is massive. The ceilings are ridiculously high. It's grand, its regal, it's like living in a game of Cluedo, with thrice as many rooms. It was so much fun living the dream for a weekend without having to worry about all of the maintenance. It is overwhelming the amount of work the owners must need to maintain, not just the massive house, but the beautiful gardens. It is like a botanical garden. We walked around all weekend saying I cant believe they have let us use this place". The owners were so relaxed

The communication of the owners Janine and Craig was horrible. I had contact with Janine personally to hire out the whole palace for my music video and she said she would get back to me with dates available and dropped her bank details to give a deposit. She never got back to me to confirm dates, I kept calling over and over and texted her frequently. It's been almost a month since our first contact and I still have yet to hear from her. I have resorted to hiring somewhere else, Janine completely wasted my time. Disgusting that she would ask me to deposit without confirming any date details. Don't waste your time with these people.

I booked directly with Janine and paid the large deposit because a friend recommended the venue to me. When Covid hit, I had to reschedule due to Government restrictions. Janine and Craig stopped replying to me, never answering my many calls and emails.This was confusing to me since they seemed nice beforehand. I didn’t want to cancel, only to reschedule. But I never received a reply and they kept my deposit.I learned my lesson after this. I’m still extremely disappointed with how I was treated.

Such a beautiful property. We felt like we travelled back in time. Beautiful grounds.I went away with my friends to celebrate my 40th Birthday. We all had an amazing time.Highly recommend ❤️ and can’t wait to go back sometime.

We have just come back from the most fabulous weekend. 6 adults and 6 children in the most enormous home imaginable.I've visited many stately homes over the years like Ripponlea, or Werribee Mansion. This time we had the keys and felt welcome to make it our home for the weekend.An experience none of us will ever forget.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Absolutely stunning place. A friend booked it for a wedding and the grounds were gorgeous. I didn't hear the exact amount that they spent to book it but I understand it was a LOT. I personally wouldn't spend the money when you could go to somewhere like the Botanical gardens for a whole lot cheaper. But my understanding is that it's a private place to stay as well, so there was a BBQ area and a spa out the back strictly for people staying there, and part of the price is to cover the cost of the building being vacant for the event.

We recently had our wedding in the Bishops Palace gardens in a marquee, and it was magnificent. The gardens were so beautiful for photos and the guests had a wonderful time relaxing on the grass. An absolute stunning location for a wedding reception. The owners were also very lovely and welcoming.

I tried for over 6 months just to book in a time to view the place, was ready to pay the deposit. Contact just stopped.Glad I'm getting married elsewhere
