Worst service for a place that had 2 tables seated. Food was over seasoned to the point it was inedible. Got told to fetch our own napkins after none were brought with our food. Complete waste of money!

Bouncer and bar staff are nice. Management is terrible. I had the worst experience with a judgemental and prudent lady manager. I am well of age and had planned to have some drinks with 15 plus friends at this bar. I was let in the door and had my Victorian valid drivers license scanned at the door and approved by the bouncer. I went to order a drink and was asked for ID. Odd because I was already proven to be of age by being let in the bar in the first place. The prudent lady manager viewed my ID and said it’s fake! I pleaded that it was not fake and had my bank card and multiple other cards to prove my identity. She would not accept any of those which is understood as they do not have photo ID. ALTHOUGH bar staff and the bouncer were content that I was of age and with my bank cards proving my name and date of birth, as well as working with Children’s proving my photo identity. The manager however was stubborn and kicked me out. I was fully compliment and quite upset as i had planned for everyone to attend this bar from previous good experiences. My main issue overall was the poor regard to customer service by the manager and poor human decency. I question weather your ID scanner is legitimate? I do really hope she fixes up her act as you have now lost 15 of age regular bar hopers and word of mouth is a very powerful advertising technique that will now be used to dishonour your bar name ‘Lydford and co’.

These guys balance high end food and 'out for a drink' vibes perfectly.Menu is simple, but everything is spot on.Drinks are made with love and service is fun and friendly.We had a great night catching up here

Went there for a friends b-day, initially was very impressed with the decor and vibe. That was ruined but the manager coming up to me and my friend, neither of us wanted to drink that night and were minding our own business, and very rudely insulted us and then threatened to kick us both out if we didn't immediately buy a drink. Was not impressed and left shortly after.

Staff were great, great atmosphere and moderately priced drinks. Though was not impressed when I was insulted by the management. With a party of about 30 people, most of who were drinking considerable amounts, I was not drinking as I had to work the next day and I was minding my friend's bag as she danced. I was approached by the manager and instructed that he does not run a f****** charity and that if I was not drinking I could take my handbag and get the f*** out. Very disappointing end to a good night.

Average bar, minimal choice of drinks especially beer wise. Just a place for people to go out and party but music is nothing to write home about. Staff are friendly enough. But to say it's a place to recommend would be a stretch.

Regulars. Love this place. Venue is nice, inside and out. Staff are lovey. Good music. Cocktails are a fun list! Not overly pricey and you get what you pay for. Food list is limited though however there’s plenty of surrounding places nearby to get that late night fix.

Came to the first taco and tequila night afew weeks back. There were us and one other table seated in the venue. Would not recommend, margs advertised as $10 online but $12 at the bar and are not mixed on order but are premixed pored from the tap. As for the tacos we were told to order on the app the app as none of the staff couldn’t do it for us which the app was also wrongly priced compared to the paper menus and we could only order 3 of the same flavors other that mix and match. When we asked staff if they could help they had no idea, we skulled our drinks and walked out.

Last time I went to this place I had a terrible time.. music was s**t, the floor destroyed my tns, stickier than cloud basement, and to top it off, I got kicked out because I had a cold and was sniffing in the toilets.. if you want to have a good time, this isn’t the place

Good little spot for few craft pints of beer, open late weekends with fun young crowd and dance floor with DJ. Great for locals who like to get out for a bit of a chat and few drinks.
