We decided to use Extrabuild for our renovation, due to their professionalism and positive approach. They didn’t disappoint during the build and we would recommend them to anyone considering building or renovating. Quality work and good communication throughout.

We contracted Extrabuild to undertake a significant renovation of our 100 year old weatherboard home in 2019. The scope of works originally involved the demolition of a rear deck and construction of a 7m x 7m family room comprising new kitchen, family, dining and undercover deck.We later included a full renovation of a bathroom, laundry and third bedroom, plus the addition of a carport.We chose Paul and his team after seeing Extrabuild undertaking a similar renovation elesewhere in our suburb. We spoke at length with the home owner and felt very comfortable that Paul would deliver a cost effective, stress free solution.Paul delivered this in spades with his team working dilligently and cohesively throughout the project, despite incessant queries from the home owner. His tradesman were extremely courteous and capable - and tidy. Pauls' experience working with certifiers and subcontract trades certainly eased our concerns. Paul also paid close attention to the existing house design and worked hard to match up existing trims where possible, and suggesting amenable options if original materials were no longer available. The result has given the old house a new life and we are very thankful to Extrabuild for their assistance and prefessional appraoch throughout the project.

From our 1st meeting, we new we would go with Paul. He understood our visions and had alot of great ideas - nothing was ever problem. His builders, Andrew and Bailey, always showed up on time and worked with us to ensure we were all on the same page. The tilers, plumbers, gyprockers and electricians all completed work to high standards. Kathleen was always lovely to chat to and make sure we complied with building requirements. A few unexpected things popped up, which put us over budget, but the end result is amazing. We are very happy with our renovation with Extrabuild.

Extrabuild did a complete demolition and rebuild of our bathroom. We are very pleased with the end result. During the building process, what problems occurred were usually around plumbing. The plumber(s) had to come back a number of times and it seemed to us that they were not as 'switched' on as the rest of the tradies to allow for other work that was being done.An example would be running pipe connections through a spot where a shave cabinet was marked for installation. Ultimately, Paul was usually around or called to come to handle any problems like that and usually a solution was found. Paul always seemed to find a solution to those types of events.Additionally, we are still lacking some paperwork from the build. We loaned a copy of our original house plans to Extrabuild and that has not been returned yet. We also have asked for information paperwork on the original insurance certificate.We also understood that at some future time Paul and Kathleen were going to come to see the finished result. We still have the wine on chill.To sum up, we are very pleased with our bathroom and have proudly shown it to numerous friends.Jerry and Christine PriettoHello in 2022. We have been included in a request to 'write a review' about the above job, probably due to covid delays. As mentioned above, we are very pleased with the result. Our bathroom was gutted and completely rebuilt and now, a year plus later, we are still 'showing off' the result to friends. We actually still have a bottle of champagne ( now called 'bubbles' to appease the French) which we hoped to share with Paul and Kathleen. We could also return their sign which was in the front of our house during last year's build. Paul & his team undertook termite repairs to our home. This included demolition of some existing walls & frames & replacement of same. Nothing was too much trouble, the service & workmanship was excellent. Price was very affordable. Definitely recommend these guys.

After a bad experience prior I decided to get a few quotes. Paul called, inspected the job and discussed the options available to complete the repair.We had our quote the following day which was a fair price.The selling point was that Paul had the knowledge to complete the job which became more apparent after speaking with the other builders.More then happy with the final result which was completed within the quoted timeframe. Would definitely recommend Extrabuild to family and friends.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!Where do we start … We bought a little 100 year old lake house that needed a makeover to give her a new lease of life whilst not losing any of her quirkiness and charm.Enter Paul and Kathleen from Extrabuild.From our very first meeting we knew that this was the right fit for us. They looked over our plans, gave us some constructive feedback and suggested some extra ideas which we took on board. Even some of the more tricky aspects of the build were solved without too much stress. Site access wasn't easy and being an older house there were many unexpected “surprises”!Our new Kitchen, Ensuite and Bathroom/Laundry are just beautiful. We also have a new deck and the old internal floorboards were fully restored. A Staircase, Skylights and a coat of paint completed the works.We can’t speak more highly of all the trades who brought our plans to life, they were wonderful and often went above and beyond to get things done - especially our Carpenter Tyler and his assistant TJ. We were living in the house throughout the build and they were all very respectful of our privacy, timeframes and even tolerated our crazy dog!The end result is we have brought our tired little lake house back to life. Paul and his team undertook a large scale renovation on the bottom storey of my house, including changing the garage into living space and adding in master bed, WIR and ensuite. They were great to work with, very professional and helpful and the end result high quality. There were some delays and small errors that got rectified, but I think this is unavoidable to some extent in building and especially with covid delays. I would definitely recommend building with Extrabuild.
