We were looking forward to taste their food, which was beautifully explained. But unfortunately the ravioli had no flavour and to pay for 4 ravioli $35 was ridiculous. It was our first visit and it was quite uncomfortable to sit inside on metal outdoor chairs. But the worst was the extremely noisy staff in the kitchen. We won’t be back.

We love Belin and its people, authentic Italian food made with love! The traditional cheesy Belin focaccia, Gnocchi au tuccu and Filetto ai funghi e spinaci are my favourites, nothing short of 5 stars! The people behind this place are super passionate, a great culture here, Belin is embedded in the Mosman Park community, get amongst it!

This is a great place for authentic Ligurian/Genoese dishes and the hostess is the mostest! Even better that you can BYO your matching Italian wines - highly recommended, both for small & larger groups, you won't be disappointed. Ignore the bad reviews about holding deposits, every right for the restaurant to charge these to discourage non-appearances and it's not as if you weren't told about it when you made the booking. They might let you off if you're nice about it and give them enough warning so they can re-book your table...

I visited this restaurant with my parents last night for dinner. My husband at the last minute couldn’t join us as he had to leave earlier than expected for a trip, that took our booking from 4 people down to 3. I tried calling the restaurant during the afternoon twice to let them know but no one answered the phone.Upon arrival I was promptly told that due to this reduction in number of guests attending I would be charged a $25 fee. They said these were the rules on their website, I disagree - it wasn’t like we cancelled the whole booking or didn’t show up at the last minute!This policy will work against this restaurant as what it means is that we stayed for the dinner, as we had to or they would’ve charged us $100 for leaving , but we then proceeded to order the cheapest thing on the menu and didn’t have entrees. So for the unreasonable application of this policy in this circumstance and the rude and abrupt behaviour from the restaurant they missed out on our business in other ways. Plus we will never go there again, we live locally and will warn others of the same pitfall if they go there. Today I have already told 5 friends and chatted to a restaurant owner in Nedlands who couldn't believe I was charged the fee. Shame really, the waitress who served us was lovely and apologized for the policy.Interesting what the owner said in her response below about the waitress and the lies, I never once screamed in her face and she did actually apologize to me...so i stand by my rating and think its entirely fair.And those lovely people you refer to in your comments are my parents and they were extremely upset when I told them that I was charged the $25 fee the next day and they will never dine in your restaurant again either.

Five stars for Belin!!Came across this little gem when visiting locally. We were desperate for lunch a had a quick Google to see what's around. The staff were very friendly and approachable and a really cute cafe!We came as a party of four and had focaccia and olives for starters. The focaccia is to die for you must try it. I had the squidink pasta with king prawns and my husband had the mushroom gnocchi. Only fault was that the prawns were just a little bit over cooked/ powdery, otherwise everything was amazing! We each also had a coffee and it was probably one of the best coffees I'd ever had!Our server (Frank - maybe the owner?) was a delight and shared her passion for Italian food and the balance of flavours in the food. It was really nice to have this information shared with us and gave us an appreciation for the effort and how tasty the food was.We'll definitely be back again!

This absolute gem hidden away in Mosman Park is simply the most wonderful Italian cucina I've been to for many years. It's such a shame that I didn't know of this place sooner! It's just around the corner!The food is absolutely to die for - I would highly recommend the ravioli with wild rabbit, the incredibly unique and delicious Belin foccacia, and the fugassa as an entree (although this would make for a delicious breakfast or snack!) The coffee Belin sources is also absolutely wonderful and very reasonably priced!Best of all, though, is the service. Freddie was absolutely captivating and such an accommodating and engaging host. I've not come across a cafe/restaurant with such a friendly and chatty staff before. This restaurant really has heart and soul.Thank you Freddie, and thank you Belin staff! My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time and we'll definitely be back. I highly recommend Belin to everyone!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because the squid ink ravioli was oddly divine & the tiramisu was indulgent, will definitely be coming back for a coffee in the morning as the staff are super friendly & welcoming.

Here's a review with a difference! We plan to have breakfast there at 9am today - in an hour's time! Having been there a few times in the past few weeks, I already know that it's going to be the highlight of our long weekend. That's because I already know the coffee is the best anywhere (seriously), and the foccacia is hand made and so light and tasty. Last time I had the mushrooms and they were superb. So I'll edit my review when we get back and confirm what I already know. Get along to Belin - a gem, as other reviewers have also called it.Update: we're now home and it was everything we expected. Best coffee, best Fugasso, lovely omelette and friendly service as usual. Never disappoints! Thanks Belin.

Delicious food, amazing coffee and the most warm and welcoming service…morning, noon and night!The mushrooms with pesto is our pick for Brekky, the pizza for lunch and squid ink pasta for dinner.Most importantly though…the gorgeous team make you feel like you’re part of the Belin family. Such a special experience whether you’re grabbing a take away coffee or staying for a 3 course meal ❤️Would DEFINITELY recommend!
