Grey River Picnic Area
A very nice and quiet place to spend good time with loved ones. The road gets muddy / slippery after rain, but worth the drive. You can feed the birds on the way and spot many koalas (sitting high on the trees) on the way.There are 3 coal bar b qs, that can be utilized if one is planning for food. Small ground where kids can run around. There is a small stream and a bit of walk on that stream is fun.It gets really dark after sunset, so keep a torch or some battery light.Overall a great place to enjoy time and cherish nature.

A serene and tranquil area. We stayed late to view the glow worms and it was an experience - like stars within the dark hills. Can be wet and cold but it is serene amongst the forest and nature.

Glow worms at sunset are amazing. Worth a trip. Fabulous time seeing them. Mind blown!!!!

Absolutely the best place to see the glow worms in the wet and cold times of the year. They thrive along the banks when you walk back over the bridge. If you're lucky you will see koalas and kangaroos om the way up there too.

What an amazing spot!!! There are a lot of walking trails around. A must visit. We came here for the glow worms.... they did not disappoint.

Magical place. Go there just before it gets dark. You can see the glow worms by the creek near the picnic area. Turn off your torches and give your eyes 5mins to adjust.

Saw 2 koalas and a sprained neck. Go to Cape oatway and you can see plenty.

Grey River Picnic Area
It’s pretty much into the national park and has a narrow dirt road. You can spot many wallaby’s at dusk. Couldn’t spot koalas though!
