Purchased chicken thigh that was 2 days out of date. Returned to store and told owner. His response was that “we are all human” no refund and no effort to fix the situation. Don’t bother, unless you want food poisoning.

Rude owner/server. Minimum $5 to use eftpos, couldn’t purchase a $3.50 item. All other places at least charge a surcharge. In COVID times, who the hell carries cash??? Will never return.

Our experience was similar to other reviews; the owner is officious to the point of rudeness. But that is his style and he is proud of it. If customers don't like it, that's their problem not his. So, customers should consider their treatment by the owner as a special experience and a credit to the IGA group. At the end of the day, it's a store that caters for locals, not passers by and tourists.

Wasn't impressed. Watched the guys behind the counter pick his nose then wipe it on the front of his jacket. Made me feel sick. Will make the drive to Romsey supermarket from now on. Absolutely disgusting

Rude ownerMore expensive then Romsey.When you take the receipt to show the owner to show price difference he says well go to Romsey.Romsey is $5-$10 cheaper

Rude owner, ever ruder prices. The worst meat I've ever purchased, it was full of red dye. Don't waste your money, go to Romsey or Kyneton

Stopped in on my way through (a trip I make often), just for an icecream. Told minimum eftpos amount was $5 so I was forced to buy something else. Headed off and opened the icecream to find it has been defrosted and refrozen, probably many times...threw out over half of it as it was inedible. ..won't be back...would rather pay extra from a Cafe...and yes, the rude man is still there!
