Yuu Sushi

Waitresses should be more knowledgeable about the menu.I pointed to the menu to order and they brought me another order. It was my fault too for not listening to the waitress confirm my order. However, I pointed to the menu and ordered. My companion also looked at it. But please read the menu properly to see what more customers are ordering. By the way, you seem to think that tuna nigiri sushi and tuna California rolls are the same thing, but they are completely different. I ordered tuna nigiri sushi but they didn't want to make it and tried to give me a Tuna California roll that was already on the train.

Date/time of visit: 8 May 2022 @ 7:00pm (approx.)We stopped here for a meal on our through to Canberra (from Melbourne). The venue was busy and we were seated at a table instead of the sushi train. Consequently, we were given a menu (because we weren't able to view items on the train). The menu was just a tad confusing. Some items appearing in the a la carte section of the menu (with prices) also appeared in the hot food section of the menu (unpriced). As a result, we ordered karaage off the a la carte. The karaage was good, probably a little over cooked on the outside. The serving size was large. The large serving size, along with the slightly overcooked batter meant that the thought of eating deep fried food for the following couple of weeks made me feel off (but in some cases there was no other option during our travels). The nigiri was fine. There was confusion regarding our order (that we didn't raise at the time because it was minor and there was no point making a fuss). So when ordering with the staff, just be extremely clear with your order. I asked for salmon nigiri but was served auburi salmon nigiri (for me this means something because I am very fussy with my nigiri and seafood). Reflecting on the menu, their distinction was fresh salmon nigiri" and "grilled salmon nigiri"; and I only asked for "salmon nigiri" without being explicit that I wanted fresh salmon nigiri. Quality food and good service, I will be returning here many more times.Delicious food - serve an excellent grilled salmon nigiri and eel nigiri. My first time here there was a small amount of sinew on one of the pieces of salmon but the other 3 pieces were perfect, second visit all pieces were perfect. I requested a seaweed salad which wasn't on the menu but they had no hesitantion in providing it, it was brought out as one of my last dishes though. I also requested chilli powder which isn't on the menu and they provided a very decent amount - was very happy about this.Fast service bringing out food ordered off of the menu and quite a few options of the sushi train (conveyor belt).Service was prompt and staff were friendly. They did start cleaning the floors at about 8pm (open until 8.45pm) which seemed abit rushed as we were still eating/drinking, but we were the last people left in the shop.Both the grilled nigiri and spicy chicken and avocado nori rolls were my favourite!

Love this place to bits. The food is always fresh and comes out quickly when you place special orders.The only reason they don't get the fifth star is that the service isn't the greatest. Very friendly but to get their attention for a drink and waiting for a drink after ordering is very slow.

Fresh and delicious sushi made to order. Good and efficient service. For two of us, we had about 14 dishes and Miso soup the bill came to about $64.

That was so good. We drove all the way from Wagga to Albury and had the sushi train BC my little one loves it (no we don't have one in wagga, it closed down) totally worth the drive! Friendly staffs and good food!

Yuu sushi has the best teriyaki chicken I've ever tasted. My partner and I love coming here for our date meal. Food is always full of flavour and staff are always wonderful.

Fresh beautiful choices on the sushi train; nice staff; the place needs a bit of love e.g. lose the old hand- written signs, dib dab where there’s worn paint. We’re feeling healthy & full though, & back on the road. Yum!

Food was not that great. Very disappointing.bite-size sushi would be more attractive. soup of udon tasted made out from just soup extract wasn’t so nice. But staff was kind and very helpful.

Who doesn't love a Train Sushi! We just passing this place thought we should try and we loved it! The Service and the staff is very nice and the Chefs all very friendly ❤️
