We thoroughly enjoyed our two nights. Upgraded as our room we booked wasn't ready....we were early! One bedroom apartment. Clean comfortable and easily accessible to the beach 5min. Walk.It was a real pleasure having space and peace. Parking too.... which they wavered the fee on!. Dog friendly so next time my border collie will share the joy of manly. Thanks Waves.

Great location however does not make up for the standard of accommodation you get and pay for.The Tele didn’t work, couldn’t use the streaming service as this is not available (but is advertised) as well as the normal channels wouldn’t work, shower head doesn’t stay up keeps falling, had hair from previous guests still in the shower, apartment smells mouldy and could do with a good deep clean as it is very dusty and need a good wipe down. Tea Towel in kitchen full of holes.Little back yard is also in need of a clean as well everything full of cobwebs and little garden beds are overgrown and not maintained.Not up to standard unfortunately.

Premium price for motel experience. Booked the Family Room with Terrace, all the furniture places close together, 400$ a night. Lacked some basic amenities, 1 towel per person for 3 days or pay for extra, no toothbrush/toothpaste provided, and the wifi might as well not be provided because it was not usable, takes 10 minutes to load a page.Also definitely not wheelchair accessible, Doorways are very narrow and there’s a step for the bathroom.The only pro is it’s close to the beach.

This is a review for our experiences leading up to our stay. When we found Manly Waves we were super impressed with the location for the price. My partner and I had intended to cook our own meals during our stay and had assumed based on the description “kitchen - space for guests to cook their own meals” and “basic essentials - pots, pans, oil, salt and pepper” in the listing that it wouldn’t be an issue. After booking we double checked the listing and noticed that the photos did not display the above items/well-rounded kitchen space and called to confirm that these would be available to us. After talking to reception we were told that our room would not contain such amenities, despite the listing. I asked if anything portable could be in and was told that they would find out and contact me. I was not contacted.Growing unimpressed with the lack of certainty or responsiveness, we decided that we best look elsewhere and request to cancel our reservation. It was only when AirBnb contacted the host regarding a refund and after we sent a message through the Airbnb app (after calling) that a portable stove would be supplied to us.We received a partial refund due to our cancellation date based on their policy. However, we were refused full refund despite the fact that our room did not include the kitchen features that the listing had led us to believe would be readily available to us.Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the rest of the accomodation as we did not stay here but are disappointed by the outcome of this.

Room was very tiny, nothing like the photos, not clean, bad customer service with premium prices once you pay for the carpark which should be free.I've also had to pay for my small dog stay which is understandable as this fee should go towards cleaning after the pet leaves however the room they put me in; there was cat her all over blanket which made it for me hard to breath and got tight chest and watery at night as I'm allergic to cats.They should've at least washed the blanket.I've stayed in pet friendly hotels previously and was always cleaner than this place.I was also over charged $50 and when I questioned that the next day the Lady on the reception said I don't, the computer does the calculation!I left this place feeling being scammed!

Great vibes at Manly Waves Studio and apartments!After a terrible let down on Air bnb I found Roxy at Manly Waves Studio and honestly I'm kinda happy my original plans fell through.The staff are lovely and welcoming the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Modernised and clean in an older Sydney block.Walking distance to the beach, car parking extremely convenient!Nice, quiet and comfortable space - do recommend

A great location but seriously in need of an update. You can see they've put recent efforts into repainting, some decorating and getting new sheets, but the basics were a bit overlooked. Bathrooms in serious need of a remodel, and missing basic supplies like enough glasses and mugs for the room capacity. Friendly staff but rooms weren't serviced during the day when we were out. Not sure why sheets had sand in them or certain parts of the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. A bit average, but great if you're on a budget!

Lovely stay, beautiful cute place. Vendors have us early check in before a wedding after our big drive up to refresh before the ceremony and we’re super accommodating.Very clean & tidy, thank you for a great stay

Good location to beach. Short walk to corso. Rooms were good. Price jumped $100 for Friday night. Terrible tight parking. Friendly staff.

**FALSE ADVERTISING BEWARE **The whole place reeks of cigarettes, the shower was filthy, don’t be fooled by the pictures on the internet because they bare no resemblance to the reality. Broken shower head. Very, very basic, noisy, dusty, dirty floors and I’m almost certain the sheets weren’t changed before I got there because there was crumbs in the bed and in the bedside table. No, just NO!
