Currently (August 2020) baby swing buckle is broken. There are picnic benches and BBQ area, a good playground for bigger kids especially for kids who are on the smaller side.

I loved freshwater park we went their with my freind and her 3year old daughter so she can have a run around,its nice park very clean and tidy with great surrounds.

My local park, and it's quite a nice and lowkey one. Not overly built up, it's got the cricket pitch and net now. There used to be nice cockatoos on the gum tree before they chopped it down for the net. It's a nice place to walk through and the playground is quiet. Park is clean.

Adjacent to crooks river, it gives a pleasure to walk and cycle. It stretches to Dean reserve which feels like seculded place yet connected. There is small cricket pitch for juniors.

Great place to gather when commencing a bicycle ride on Cooks River. We cycled through to Brighton-Le-Sands and enjoyed a wonderful swim.

Pont3 puts on many runs.The Cooks River Run at Freshwater Parkis 1 of them. You can do a 2km, 4km or10km run or walk.It is sponsored by Strathfield Council.When the run isn't on you can just relaxin the park, have a picnic, walk your dogor take young children to the very smallplayground area.
