Never Ending Stories Bookshop (A Lifeline Darling Downs Op-Shop)

Disappointed, for a company that uses volunteers and doesn’t have to pay rent I asked why they were so expensive ‘it’s an A grade store’ was what I was told so does that warrant for $30 second hand shoes? $10 for a used kids plush toy? Aren’t these shops supposed to help support people on low or no incomes and single parents? Family’s in hardship?I wouldn’t even waste my time other op shops have the same quality and are cheaper even tip shops are cheaper and you can get the same things. Mabey it’s because this op shop is in a richer suburb so they know they can get whatever price they put on, Shame on you life line you do not help, it’s cheaper to buy brand new shoes from Kmart! Do not recommend.

Great selection of books, found a couple of hidden gems. Prices are not too bad.

I love this place and travel to visit, so you can imagine how disappointed I was when I arrived and it was closed!!!! Please update your trading hours on here! They close at 12:30pm on Sunday NOT 1:30 as Google states!

This bookshop is excellent. Very well run and set out.

I’ve been going there on and off for a few years now and have the same experience each time I’ve gone in. They have one of the widest range of second hand books in Toowoomba. It’s just a shame the staff are rude and won’t even acknowledge me even when I’ve gone in there and greeted them.
