The price is great for the quality of food. They are generous in their serving, not only the food - but the drinks they have available and have to offer.The staffs are quite friendly and the indoor dining is suitable for families or friend reunions.It's easy to walk to and I highly recommend you to support your local if you are on the search for some charcoal chicken.

Had a nice selection of Filo food. You can either eat in or take away. I'm Only Giving this place a three star because there were a lot Of dishes on the table where the customers have finished eating and have left, but the unclean dishes still sat on the table. I ate my meal for 30mins and dishes were not cleared. Pity as the place was not busy they could have had time to clean up.UPDATE - 2021.03.10 (Down grading from 3 start to 2)After a few years, I decided to visit this place as it was the only closest cooked filipino food around the area. Sadly, the food is totally bland. Sisig did not have the oomph and the dinuguan was so bland. Grilled chicken was pretty much the same - reheated, but not warm enough, sauce/glaze was also bland.

I really loved the original whole chicken and the marinade sauce, chicken was not dry to eat but juicy!I had their fried wings seperately but the inside wasn't cooked properly so they were a bit pink.Customer service wasn't that great, some of the staff didn't really speak English so had trouble trying to explain what the foods they had on display were. Also took a while before we were acknowledged and served. Food serving size were indeed generous.Limited car parking space on site but there are also street parking around the corner.Update review 25/11/12:Their leche flan is really good, one of the best I've had so far compared to other filo restaurants. I am also deducting a star from my previous review due to the appalling customer service. I've been here a couple times and their terrible customer service is very consistent. Today, my friend and I were waiting for at least 10 minutes before we got served. While the cashier was walking around the store, he never once acknowledged us at all and practically ignored us. Good customer service would acknowledge waiting customers and let them know there is a bit of a wait before they will be served.

Severe deterioration in quality and quantity of food. Poor value for money. Used to be a repeat customer but will never order from this store for a party anymore. Full trays were sold for full prices but received half full. Reached out to the owners who responded, acknowledged the poor quantity but with no real fair resolution. There are plenty of other new filo restaurants who have better quantity and quality. Please refer to photos below for trays sold at $85+ each but were half full

The good: If you like Nandos, come to Chadz-- home to excellent grilled chicken and great meal deals. Enjoy their secret blend grilled chicken basting marinade everytime you order a chook or pork skewer. The staff are very attentive, friendly, welcoming and have no issues answering your questions. 1 LCD TV showcases ESPN Sportscenter and the other photos of food with their names at the bottom. The venue is clean, neat, and tidy. The best time to come is at 11:30 am to 12:45pm as at this time the food is hot n fresh from the stove.Personal picks: I'd go for Arroz Caldo every Tuesdays and Wednesdays.The bad: a staff room would be ideal for them to have lunch for greater privacy.Summary: A great place to eat between the hours of 11:30am-12:45pm.Rating: 3.95 stars out of 5

Of the Filipino places I've tried in Melbourne, this one feels closest to home. The place has 'karinderya' vibes. Non-Filipinos might think them unsanitary, but the food they serve is as close to a Filipino home-cooked meal as you can find when dining out.I like the idea of a combo, it lets you have a cheap option for a meal (it's usually a single serve, not for sharing) and if you choose a 2-dish combo, you'll get to try two delicious dishes.We went here to dine-in, lunch time on a Saturday. The service is good, the place is simple, and food is really tasty. Especially their Chicken Inasal. I'd say it's tastier than chicken at Mang Inasal (a popular BBQ chain in PH).I would definitely go back and bring Aussie friends to let them try authentic Filipino food.

Arrived and patiently waited to be served at the front counter. Was completely ignored for half an hour, we decided to just leave as we didn't want to waste anymore of our time. Very dissapointing, tables were left with dirty plates and customers were left without any food or service.

Boodle fight organised at my home by Chadz was excellent. Tasty, varied food; really amazing and interestingly set up. Also very accommodating of people's diets and helped prepare a suitable menu. The whole experience was 5 stars. Completely recommend.
