Excellent facilities and would highly recommend to anyone traveling and staying in Denham.

Would leave zero stars if could. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.Rang up to ask a question about the rooms, and without really getting an answer the girl straight away demanded my card details for the booking. This should have been the first red flag, but I naively just went along with it.The room was filthy. Hairs in the bed, bathroom from the 70’s and falling apart and dirty utensils in the cupboard. The wifi didn’t work and nor did the lock on the sliding door at the back. The pillows as thin as paper and the bed as comfortable as a plank of wood.A comprehensive list of rules, demands and fines are printed on the back of the door, absolutely insulting to any adult of sound mind.To top it all off, we awoke to a rude call from the girl that took the booking at 7am. Claiming the payment was “declined”. In reality she had simply taken the number down incorrectly, and who knows why it took them almost 24 hours to realise this. Half asleep, I told her I would come to reception shortly to pay again. However this led to the owner smashing on the apartment door moments later. Shouting, swearing and insulting. Demanding that I hand him my bank card there on the spot. In the moments that followed I was inundated with threats, including that he would “come and find me around town later”. He attempted to come back to the room to physically remove us, and took quite some time and a verbal argument for him to allow us to pack our belongings in peace. Stay anywhere but this place, especially if you have young children, the owner is a psychopath.

The owner was very rude. He first complained and threatened us with fine for parking in wrong spot. He entered our room 5 times complaining about various things. There were so many restrictions. He was looking for excuses to fine us. He doesn't allow people talking back. The three bedroom house had only 1 A/C. It was super hot inside. He even turned off AC without letting us know. He also charged $183 for two additional infants. There were cockroaches and ants but he doesn't care about fixing that. Never experienced such poor hospitality. Please stay away from this place. He made our trip miserable.

We didn't interact with anyone on the property, the key was in a little lock box on arrival. Room was modest but clean and had a lovely ocean view. Parking is conveniently right in front of the room. There was a small kitchenette with everything we needed to cook a meal. Location is great, walking distance to the little town area, restaurants, and grocery stores.

Feeling so much gratitude for the hospitality of the Bay Lodge team! They will always have your back and will not leave you stranded. A family run place perfect to stay in SB :)

The bed & mattress was the worst I've ever slept on & should be replaced. The bathroom was in need of a thorough clean with the basin tap leaking constantly & tapware badly corroded. I don't think any maintenance has been done for some time. It's definitely a budget stay.Would not recommend you stay here.

Highly recommended. Large rooms, great cooking and dinner space in room and in resort.Clean and large pool.Great location.Fresh linen pillows and towels.Great check in process.Would recommended rooms facing water for couples to enjoy drink on your doorstep.

Not my favourite place to stay after the long drive up from Perth.Seemed enough but the facilities are in need of some care and attention.Corroded tiles around the bathroom basin and a noisey bed in need of some TLC.Suited to FIFO workers or something but not for holiday makers or families. Thin walls so could hear the drunk guy behind our bed.Easy check in process.

A great accomodation to choose among. There is cooking stove and ultensil in the room. Outdoor facilities incl. Swimming pool, bbq and sheltered picnic tables.

Have been staying here regularly through work. The owner Clint is always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and is perfectly fine for what I need it for. You could not be closer to the ocean and everything is in walking distance. Can't wait to take the family for a holiday here.
