We recently purchased a home in WA via Sherlock Homes group. In the listing was a description about a beautiful mantelpiece and electric fireplace. The listing also includes an image and video focusing on this fireplace. We had our property manager inspect the property and there was a discussion about the fireplace and ensuring it was working appropriately. On settlement, the fireplace was removed and the wall was plastered , patched and painted over. We have tried to resolve the issue privately but have had no further response and wish to warn others buyers of the potentially untruthful manner in which the property listed by this company is advertised. This is our fifth investment property and are no means ‘rookies’ and we had ensured our due diligence was completed.
