From the time I first met John from Ceramex I was impressed with his professionalism and approach to the job. Not only is he excellent at what he does, but the explanation of the process allowed me to understand all that was involved very easily. Our entry way and bathrooms were thought out and laid with precision! I am very happy with the work done and look forward to another seamless job with a rare but great tradesman!

I highly recommend John from Ceramex for his stone polishing and restoration services. John worked at my house over several weeks on the restoration of my marble stone heritage bathroom. My partner and I found him to be nothing less than a gentleman and a true master of his craftInitially I had contacted John from Ceramex to polish the Carrara marble tiles around the doorways. This was done quickly and at a very reasonable cost. After completing the edge polishing I asked John if he would help complete the entire works. Prior to meeting John I had been resolved to complete the restoration myself. I'd had trouble with other tradesmen and their less-than-adequate quality of work, with much of what had been done having to be redone. John told me he would take on the job and that he would try and restore my faith in tradespeopleIt was a big job, over the several weeks John rectified the other tradies poor work, installed some new stone in places, made repairs and did lots more marble polishing. John said that he came with 35yr experience in working with stone tiles. The quality of work produced by John showed me that this “experience” was not just an idle claim, unlike so many of the others tradies that I had trusted previouslyThroughout the job, John stayed true to his word and true to the flexible contract between us. John always communicated ahead of time on the days he could and couldn’t work. John communicated on what work that would be done each day and contacted me about any questions and decisions to be made. While the other tradies made me feel I was a helpless passenger just hoping to survive the inevitable train wreck, John made me feel that I was in control of the work being done. John also was flexible enough to put the job on hold for a couple of weeks, so that I could “catch up” with some of the restoration work that I wanted to complete myself.The final product produced by John is of the quality only usually seen in a high-end hotel. It’s just jaw droppingly stunning! John put the train back on the tracks and drove the project safely to its destination. He saved my wayward project and, after a year and a half of not having a working bathroom, he probably saved my marriage too! John is of the type of tradesman not often seen anymore. I want to thank John for all his hard work, attention to detail and pride in workmanship that has convinced me that there are good tradesmen out there. Well… at least one.

John is a reliable honest talented hard worker. True to his word. Turned up on time, kept all commitments. Great job all round. Etched Marble tile polishing & sealing, Tavertine honed tiles re-honed & repaired etc. Pool surround tiles cleaned, sealed, grouted etc. Took a week due to staffing issues though his honesty & reliability & expertise came through.I don't usually do reviews though a request came through & I feel John Boghos (Ceramex) deserves accolades!Highly recommended

I recommend CERAMEX to anyone looking for stone installation and Stone polishing. John and his crew came in and transformed our old bathroom to a magnificent marble showpiece. John also polished our old and worn bench top, bringing it back to like new high polished surface.John is great to deal with, extremely attentive and helpful.
