Taken my car there numerous times and found Tony to be an honest mechanic and can't fault his workmanship. Reading Matt's review has me scratching my head I am guessing there is another side to this story.

Hi have had my 4x4 serviced with tony and his staff for over 17 years I found Tony to go above and beyond to deliver a very high standard of work Tony and staff let you no the cost upfront before commencing the job I now live in qld and would highly recommend this company and whilst I still travel back to the area to visit family. I won't let anyone else do my brakes other then Tony to me it's worth the trip to know you are getting a mechanic that knows his job

Tony and his staff have always been nothing but helpful and honest. Changed from a good mechanic to Tony as needed work done asap and was truly happy with the work done. I have not been anywhere else since. Thank you and I will be back.

Macquarie brake & clutch have the experience no amount of money can buy. The workshop is well positioned to a couple of eateries and other specialist outlets. Macquarie brake & clutch use only quality parts that can not be a substituted. Tony was an expert fitter and I got a competitive price.

Tony is in my opinion a first class mechanic and honest too. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately this was the absolute worst customer service i have recieved in any industry ever. This is a long story but i recommend reading and i will try and keep it short. So i ordered suspension through these guys and the boss tony write the wrong part in the email to the supplier and then fitted them. After getting the call to come get the csr which is a 45 minute drive from where i live i noyice that it's the wrong parts. I offered to pay him for the labor but didn't want to pay more for a suspension i didn't want and that were worth far less. I told him i would pay the price for the part i want when i actually get the part. He proceeded to snatch the keys out of my hand and then try and blame the suspension company. Meanwhile i was being rudely treated and told it wasn't his problem i was stuck in a foreign town 45 minutes from my place and i couldn't take the car and he wouldn't even try and find a solution for me to get home. Long story short it cost me another 2 taxi trips at 130 each and an extra wheel alignment as he still insisted on charging me for a wheel alignment even though i received a car without one. Even his employees were quick to apologise to me for how rudely i was treated and. Some people may have had good experiences here but i assure you that if he gets something wrong like he did on this occasion it will entirely be on you and he will be as rude as possible to try and protect himself from having to admit it and do the right thing. He even tried to complain that no one was going to pay him for the extra work of taking out the wrong suspension. I would implore you to go absolutely anywhere else.
