Lauriely Taylor Makeup Artist

I recently joined 5 of my friends on the makeup artist 3-hour course with Lauriely, and it was fantastic!! I never knew how much makeup could change the way you look. We went through everything from how to use concealer properly and how best to shape your face. I have never been great with eyeshadow, but you learn it's so easy now with the tricks and tips. I highly recommend booking into the studio for a girls night.

Can not recommend enough!! Lauriely is so professional and knowledgable about makeup and skin products, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. First time I have experienced airbrush foundation and it lasted all night and didnt make my face feel 'painted'. Lauriely was also such a pleasure to be around.

Lauriely was my wedding make up artist. She was incredibly wonderful to deal with, she knew her stuff and had me looking and feeling a million dollars on my big day. My make up held all day and night and didn’t feel heavy or uncomfortable. I also used lashes which is never had before and loved them! I can not recommend Lauriely enough!

This lovely lady is so talented!! I hired Lauriely to do my makeup for my wedding and she did not disappoint!! Thankyou for making my daughter, mum, my bridesmaid and myself look absolutely flawless!! She is very professional, kind and definitely goes out of her way to make you feel beautiful !! I used Lauriely for my wedding makeup in 2010 and even back then she was a phenomenal make up artists that specialised in creating elegant looks. I have watched her grow since then, continually refining her skills and becoming one of the most sought after makeup artists in Airlie Beach. If you are more inclined for a natural look that still withstands the Whitsundays tropical climate then Lauriely is your lady.

Lauriely did my makeup for my wedding... Coming from interstate and not meeting her until the day of the wedding would ordinarily be extremely daunting, but Lauriely made the whole process strsss free. She listened to my vision and created exactly what I wanted. Could not recommend her more highly. When we move to the Whitsundays, I'll use her for all my special occasion makeup needs!

Lauriely is one of my favourite makeup artists. She is amazing and I recommend her to all my couples. I even use her for myself when I need professional makeup! She is so easy going and natural in her persona, which makes you feel really comfortable when she's working with you. She works absolute wonders with colour pallets and will make you feel, and look incredible. 5 Stars!!!

Lauriely has a wonderful touch and feel for colour. Through her workshops and tutorials she has taught me to use make up when I had no real clue, allowing me to do a brides makeup at a destination wedding where there was noone available to do it.....and it even looked good!!!!

Each girl had a different dress, skin tone and best/favourite feature. Lauriely took it all into consideration and made them all look beautiful. She did a lighter make up coverage on the mothers and listened to their worries. Lauriely didn’t stop working, but at no stage did she show stress and her work was flawless. She spoke to everyone and nothing was too hard for her. Everyone’s makeup stayed on all night, even through the million sweaty hugs and kisses. It honestly lasted so long we could have all worn it the next day.Before our wedding I decided to have a trial with Lauriely. During the trial we spoke about lots of different colours and combinations. I wasn’t really sure what to do. She got started, but I wasn’t 100% on the colour (it was beautiful, just not me), even though my bridesmaid thought it was perfect. She asked me what I thought, and picked up on my body language. Lauriely wasn’t discouraged and didn’t take it personally. She was more than happy to start again even after spending so long to get the application and colours perfect. Lauriely does an absolutely amazing job at making me feel beautiful every time she does my makeup. She airbrushes which makes my face glow without looking like it has been caked on. She has done my makeup more times than I can remember and not only does she do an incredible job, she is professional and such a lovely person as well. Definitely recommend!!!
