Box Hill Skatepark

Huge park , new and old , definitely recommend checking it out ! So much to skate !!

Popular park is a great place for ALL ages, suitable for beginners and more experienced skaters. Its CLEAN, there are toilets and its SAFE plus night LIGHTS. Wants MORE, this park has a little bit of something for everyone and is opposite 7-11, Fabulous, go, go, go,have fun *****Elizabeth & the team*****

Great place to skate, lots of different lines to explore. Loved it

One of the best setup Skate Parks in the area, which is reflected on the number and of people from different disciplines, that come to Skate/Ride here.With lights that come on from Dusk until 9pm, it’s a great place to ride any time of day. There are lots of different obstacles and ramps/bowls to try out, and something to suit the beginners through to advanced riders. There is also seating and a covered area, plus a public toilet on site. Plus a bonus repair station with most of the basic tools to make board/bike adjustments if needed.

Amazing park. With the addition of the extension (park reopened 6th Oct) its one of the best parks in Melbourne. Perfect for all skating; Ramp, Street & Bowl, with variety of obstacle sizing catering fo all skill levels. It has lighting. Downsides are the limited parking currrntly available and the likelihood the park will be very busy for the first few months. Check out my photos to get better idea of the park.

The positives:The two biggest wins for this park are the shear creativity of the design and the amount there is to do.Other little wins include some shaded areas and toilets.The bowl is a highlight, if you love to skate bowl you could skate this thing for hours, it's small on length but bot in depth and it has some of the best transitions I've skated in a bowl.There is also some great down rails that aren't overly steep for those building to steeper grinds.The negatives:Weird transitions in the smaller areas of the park and on the jump box left a lot to be desired despite the creative design.The spine section is marred by broken concrete and it's placement is begging for collisions with bikes airing out of the bowl or kids on scooters wandering into the open sides.

Rad skatepark, lots of features for MTB, BMX, & Skate. Good progression too from beginner stuff to bigger transfers. Lights on till 10pm Friday night.
