The milk bar has fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Plus, the ambiance and decor is ideal for casual dining. Lena is a most delightful waitress/chef and a beautiful person.

Milkbar has had a change of ownership since the last time I visited in 2019. The new owners will need to make some changes if they hope to survive. It is clear that they don't have a professional chef as the menu is boring with a focus on the bubble tea. The food was terrible.Pictured is their matcha tea, which is whiter than snow.

Food is good, service is average. They forgot half of my meal - I ordered a burger and chips - and insisted that I had everything I ordered when I received the burger only. I showed them their menu which says burger with a side of chips" they then proceeded to fix it up. So

Under new management and the place is extremely clean. You could eat off the floor. I haven’t had their food, however their coffee is best in the street IMO. Service was great, they took my order well past closing time. I suggest if your into your coffee to give it a go.

One of the nicest cafe set up on Were St, Montmorency, big glass frontage, bright, airy and great pastel combo.$3.8 for an ordinary milky Latte is an overprice though, there are still some cafes serving awesome latte for $3.50 and under in Melbourne.Just a suggestion to the proprietor, you need more than just one copy of the Herald Sun for us patrons to sit longer and order more coffee and food.

Such delicious and delicately made food. You can tell the owners are passionate about bringing Modern Fusion food to the community.So happy to see this place is now open nights. Just what Were Street has been looking for! Can’t wait to come back for round three!Great coffee, chai and milkshakes. The the bubble teas are also an added treat and experience!

Absolutely delicious food and coffee! Good prices, lots of yummy options on the menu to choose from. Friendly people, food served quickly... and you can tell that they love what they do. They make my half strength latte with half a teaspoon of honey to perfection. The best! And their salmon and avocado croissants and spicy chicken burger are my favourites. Clean and appealing cafe - a lovely setting to spend time in with friends, a book or laptop.
