After the gym and a swim what I really wanted was a greasy burger and a Guinness, but my better half convinced me to come here instead. I ordered the kim chi pancakes... which turned out to be awesome. Kombucha, coffee, all top notch. The Black Forest cheesecake was pretty epic too.

Was in Napier for three days and came here two of these days because it was just fantastic! We tried their tempeh sandwich, their tofu tacos, and the gozleme + their berry loaf, vegan cheesecake slice, vegan snickers slice, and a slice of the coconut frosting cake. Everything was just incredible and it's so great to be able to eat out without worrying too much about finding not only delicious but filling and nutritious plant-based food.

Hapi is you Happy place ! Fantastic local organic mostly vegan cafe. Plenty of gf and vegan options of very fresh, organic food. Good selection of home made juices and drinks. Recommend vegan tofu chipotle tacos. They are rare treat ! Vegan Sammie with avocado is delicious too. Coffee best in town and plenty of delicious tea options. Cafe is inside Chantel organic store which is a great local organic shop.

I stopped in shortly after 7:00am and had an excellent breakfast of salmon and anchovies with capers on toast. It was very plesant to sit out front and eat breakfast in the sunshine. I got a park right outside too.

I Googled coffee shops in Napier and found this one had the highest rating. I wasn't disappointed. Really good, consistent coffee and their date scones (or whatever they are called) are so tasty especially with butter and friendly staff. I kept going back each morning my entire holiday.
