IGA Cloncurry

The worst supermarket service I ever met and much higher price than any others probably because of the monopoly and its rural location.Yesterday I was not aware of the shop was already closed (it was 8:01) while I was bringing selected groceries to check out, as no any staff checked the aisle and informed me of it and all lights are on then, the lady staff (should be the shift manager) rudely said that I was too late, then she almost threw my groceries into bag at the register to check out for me. Though I did apologise for that.When I went out towards gate, that same lady loudly yelled at me in front of other two coworkers: stop! I was aware of that their door was already locked. Really quiet offensive, that behave was totally not acceptable, I paid the money for your business and should not be treated with that way.I want to give your place -100 (minus 100) if possible. You need to be aware of that: PLEASE DO NOT throw customer’s groceries into bag at any time, PLEASE ENSURE checking the floor and inform customer before you close your shop, this is your job!!The staff can not throw your rubbishes of towards innocent customer! That behaviour was rather unprofessional and disrespectful!And, I ever bought the rotted chicken from this store a few weeks ago!I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS GROCERY STORE ANY MORE

IGA has really come to the forefront in Aus. Their food is fresh. Most of their stores are new or upgraded. Their displays of fruit and veg is beautiful. Their staff are friendly. Cloncurry IGA is no different. Great shopping.

This one of the best IGAs I have been in. It was clean and well ordered. It had a wide variety of stock. For a small outback town this is a great supermarket.

Bottled IGA ever. Deli non existent. Only chicken is drumsticks. Was told that whole chickens are cooked to sell hot.I asked a bloke behind a Deli" sign for shaved ham. He didn't know what I was talking about.Bottled water $17 (24 bottle pack} Empty shelves had $11 price tag."

Reasonable prices very friendly and helpful staff

Clean, friendly staff. Pricey but expected for a remote food shop. Better to get things on special here. Also open sundays which is a relief as the bigger shops in mount isa currently do not trade on Sunday’s. Has a hot food section also and stocks the local Cloncurry bakery bread.

Ok , customer service ok like any super market prices r shocking even when they have special discounts check date as they r 2 or more days before expirery date ????

Why the hell is baby formula $40?? Your policy states you Price match" with the big stores yet they sell the same products for $29."

We had traveled a long distance and just wanted to restock before heading out again. Girl in the deli was great but we walked up to a cashier with a basket full and put them on to the counter unbeknown to us that it was the fast checkout! There were hardly any customers in the store but the cashier made several sarcastic remarks. My husband was about to walk out and go to the other supermarket but we got our items and left. Never had such rude service!
