Bupa Aged Care Glenvale

My wife is a resident at Bupa Glenvale. Her Mother died elsewhere recently and because of my wifes special needs I was able to use the Chapel for a small family gathering after a graveside service for my mother in-law. Christopher, the Chef catered for us prividing a wonderful selection of finger food for us all to enjoy. Thanks to Bupa and the helpful staff that assisted me with this occassion. Much appreciated.

My family member was here for four years and wouldn’t have sent her any where else. Bupa was amazing and her care was outstanding.

Do not waist your time with Bupa Glenvale I have been mucked around . Got email saying congratulations you have the job. To no reply from them to finally getting a call saying I did not get the job. It has been the worst experience of applying for a job in my life. Very disappointed with them will never recommend them

Don't.They refused to even *reply* regarding the process to refund of our RAD, had to call to be informed they won't pay it back without Probate.Going to have to go through months of stress to get my father's money refunded to him because the will might have changed" even though the RAD was his money and he is the sole heir.Go somewhere you won't have to involve solicitors just to be refunded your own money back to you after your family member has just died.The fact they don't answer emails regarding it

Happy with care provided till date to my mom. Admission Manager (Utsab) has been very helpful with admission process. He always has time for us to answer our queries. All the staff are happy and friendly. Care home is always clean and tidy. Greatly maintained gardens.

Quality declined. Many lockdowns which were unnecessary. Quicker decline in my father

My grandmother is at Bupa Glenvale , and Iv noticed the quality of care has declined in the last 12months . The amount of large bruises she consistently gets that can't be explained by staff when they apparently report any falls . The bruising really doesn't appear to be related to falls but unfortunately nobody can say how or where she got them. Although there is some lovely staff there's also some impatient lazy staff that have left her in the same clothes for a couple of days or incontinence pads that have obviously been worn for way to long , during the lockdown there was no way of monitoring that which we shouldn't have to do, it's the reason we put her into care because we were worried about her falling or getting hurt , it appears to be a big mistake , we should have kept her at home. :( . Looking for recommendations of another high level nursing home in Toowoomba if anyone can comment or message me I would appreciate the help..( my advice Please try keep relatives at home as long as possible, nobody cares or loves them as much as you do.)

I know one of the staff here personally. She is very empathetic, kind, intelligent and I know for absolute certainty she does everything right for the people in her care. She is a true humanitarian, through and through.

After working at Glenvale now for over 5 months I can say, I am very proud of the team, they live by the Bupa values of Care, Responsible and Brave. I am also enjoying meeting the residents and family members, The wonderful feedback we receive makes us all proud of the work we do.
