I started off at Belly Dance Amethyst thanks to an online voucher which allowed me to tick off belly dancing on my dreamboard. My coordination has been improving, my wrist injury recovered faster thanks to a couple of moves, and learning new steps and moves for a choreography has been a wonderful challenge for my brain. It's now my third term there and it's great fun. One of the things that impressed me most is how women of all ages and levels of fitness get together to have fun, keep fit, embrace their bodies and celebrate being a woman. The variety of dance styles offered is another impressive aspect. The instructors are very supportive and talented. Great experience so far!! :) Do yourself a favour and join.

A fantastic place to learn the art of belly dance. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel welcome. It starts to feel like you are part of a family rather than just a number in a class full of people.
