Been on most shops around Kyneton and friendly atmosphere, nice people to deal with around most shops until my wife walks in to this shop, takes a photo of a mirror to send me to see if I like it so we can buy it and the arrogant thing taking care of the shop has a go at my wife because she took photos of the mirror.As some other comments looks like the owners are rude, arrogant and on top of all they dont like people taking photos.Apparently there was a sign saying no photos to be taken, fair enough the sign was there as I went inside the shop to see it myself.Someone has to teach these un-educated dude running the shop how to approach customers that are unaware of his signs. Money does not buy politeness and education thats for sure.For what I can see with other comments and reviews other customers have come outside this place with a bad experience.Good luck shopping here, this dude missed selling us a 1600 dlls mirror.

horrendous experience, owners are incredibly rude for no reason , be warned don't try and take pictures or ask to take pictures of their personal collection. unsure if they realise that it's a shop and their pieces are apparently for sale. made us feel particularly uncomfortable.

Great antique pieces however, they make you so uncomfortable so you end up running out of the door . Please invest in creating a welcoming environment and experience for your customers.

Excellent experience, fantastic shop. Like no other, it’s fantastic to be able to experience antiques as though they were in your home. Friendly and polite and very knowledgeable. Will be back!

Horrendous experience.Atrocious customer service.Rude and self important owner.The other half patrols the shop like the local militia.Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.There are plenty of fantastic antique shops in Kyneton with warm and friendly staff, this ain't one.

While I perused the collection, I overheard the shop attendant gossiping in the next room.I was so close to buying the only nice thing in the shop when a rather rude gentleman appeared by my side and began interrogating me as to why I was in his store.Upon departure, I thanked the gentleman (as my mother taught me) and he replied “okay” and refused to return my eye contact, so I left the door ajar to spite him.I recommend this store be added to a list of bad places.

You have to pay to walk in. Oh, and pay to breathe. And don't you think about blinking! That's extra.Openly sneered at for not being able to afford something (Do not judge by looks my friend) and treated like a criminal if you dare touch something.The pieces are beautiful but the people are just plain arrogant and nasty.

A quality collection for the true antiques collector. Run by 2 friendly and knowledgeable history buffs. So refreshing to discuss the pieces in the context of historical events that shaped the culture and aesthetic of the eras they represent.

Was so disappointed going into this shop, the staff made us feel like we were criminals for coming into the shop, they followed us around the store to make sure we didn't touch anything and then I saw them both standing at their securtiy monitor watching the cameras as my husband and my friend were looking around and pointing at them rudely on the screen, I was so shocked. As a lover of antiques I will sadly never go back into this store, they've lost a customer from me and I will actively tell family and friends not to go in there.
