Spectacular waterfront event! Sandgate parkrun is a 5 kilometre timed run/walk every Saturday morning from Arthur Davis Park near the Sandgate Aquatic Centre. The course is flat and scenic, to the end of the Shorncliffe Pier and back to Arthur Davis Park.

Top location for a Parkrun on the waterfront.Very well organised and friendly volunteers. The extra time spent today on seeding runners made for a far more pleasant run and I think much less congestion. Kudos to the volunteers for running a great event - hope to run in again soon.

Fantastic area to enjoy a nice flat 5km run. Run completely on pathways with the halfway/turnaround point at the end of the pier. Volunteers are awesome and a very friendly environment for everyone.

Great place to challenge yourself with encouragement from other runners. 5k run makes a beautiful start to your weekend. Really lovely view of the beach as you run. Is very flat so if you want something more challenging with hills try a different location.

Awesome course and well organised. Well supported by the community. Great place to take visitors for a free 5k timed run (don't forget your barcode)

Fabulous parkrun. Absolutely flat, wide concrete path alongside the foreshore leading to a nice long jetty jutting into Moreton Bay. Out and back course. Really friendly and welcoming. Huge crowd during speed week in June when fast runners visit from everywhere. Plenty of parking, toilets and cafes nearby.

One of Brisbane best park runs! There is no better way to start your weekend than with a nice run along the ocean, with great company and some excellent sources for a coffee and breakfast afterwards. The volunteers do a great job maintaining a healthy culture and spirited community
