I get this specific sushi place every week, I’ve eaten there since I was a kid. They have amazing food and usually use fresh ginger, getting a call through to the place sometimes though is near impossible, please upgrade your phone or maybe get 2?

The meals were wonderful.My personal experience with staff is indifferent though ... had to ask for water twice and didn't appreciate the attitude from a blonde with her hair in a tail ... amazing when a group of gym guys came in her reaction was full of smiles.Been here a few times with family, not impressed.

Ive been here a few times and was happy, however today for lunch was an eye opener. The hygiene, customer service definitely has declined a lot. One particular Asian female staff member with short hair was very rude from the moment we were seated. Once we were seated she asked what we like to drink and I asked for green tea and my colleague asked for water. She brought out 2x green tea and no water and once we said we didn't ask for 2 teas only 1 plus 1 water she had a problem with that too. Furthermore, I noticed the table was not wiped and seemed like the person before me messed avocado or something similar on the table, don't get me wrong it was tidy, but NOT clean. Also, I put the one small bowl aside (see pics) as it had a old piece of rice stuck in it plus the next one I attempted to take seemed it was rinsed and not washed. By this time I started loosing my appetite and when my chicken katsu curry came out I ate 3 pieces, and left the rest of the plate as per pics and asked for the bill. Once I paid I asked for tax invoice and the same person who served us had a attitude when I asked for that too. I will NEVER BE back!

Great food for the price. Sashimi was really fresh so ordered 2 of them. Lots of toppings to enjoy for each dish. Recommended!!!

I have been a regular here over the years, and went back here today for lunch. Unfortunately, the place has deteriorated in a big way...with service, attitude, functionality, and food quality. The first major problem was one of the wait staff (Brooke) - no greeting, unfriendly, and flustered with completing the most simplest of tasks like where to seat me. Then, the train was on hyperdrive and no one could grab food of it due to the speed it motored around the track! In addition to this, the chefs appear really unhappy and also unfriendly. When i asked for wasabe they had no idea, and just dismissed me back to unfriendly waitress lol. The food I ordered was average and the karrage chicken overcooked. Such a shame an iconic place has lost it's way...I won't be back.

We’ve tried this place on/off for the last ten years and definitely liked the food the most during our last visit only a couple of weeks ago. Service can be improved by reception/wait service. I love that I can order shimesaba, please don’t remove that!

Food was nice and fresh tonight. It's not always the way.We didn't get a couple of dishes that we ordered but they don't charge for what you order, just the amount of plates you have on your table , so that was ok..

Sushi Central is a very basic sushi train restaurant and takeaway.I thoroughly enjoyed the smokey taste of the salmon aburi. However, spicy chicken roll and hot meals were way too bland for the whole family.Restaurant is a little run down but looked tidy. Atmosphere appears to be quite laid back when dining within the restaurant.Customer service staff seemed very relaxed and friendly when ordering meals.Wait time for takeaway meals was a little too long considering minimal customers at that time.Unfortunately, I don't think I will be back.

First time visiting this sushi train was enjoyable. Many different dishes were available and they were open to requests. Each dish tasted fantastic, however the presentation could have been better. The actual belt rotating dishes IS a train, which was pretty cool. It was set to an appropriate speed as well. This place is somewhat tucked away, but it's worth the visit.

Love this place. We've been eating there for many years. High staff turnover doesn't seem to affect service. Same Chef that I can remember for the past decade or more.Food is always fresh and delicious.
