Terrible experience. Couldn't even measure properly.

Anders Blinds & Shutters is incredibly lucky that it isn’t possible to give ZERO star reviews. On the date of the appointment, the builder came one hour late and performed the job poorly. He explained that he had another job to get to from Brisbane to Gold Coast and he was in a rush. I believe the door should be functional but also aesthetically pleasing as it is the front door to my home. A week later, they came to fix my door but the business owner also came along - although he did sit in his van the entire time. Except for when he (the business owner) came to my front door to verbally attack and abuse my mother and I. He did not seem pleased that he was called back in due to a rushed job that was due to his own incompetence. I quote “You have no common sense”, “This is common sense. Everyone knows this”, “My doors are perfect” amongst other awful comments. I could not believe that this man had the audacity to accept my payment and attack and condescend me at my own HOME. By your claim, if installing and manufacturing doors were common sense, I would not need to call and pay for your service, obviously. When I told him that if he and/or his employees had come on time to the initial appointment, this would never have happened (or maybe the lack of quality is due to your own ability). To this I received the response, “Why do I have to come on time? Who says I have to come on time?”. This demonstration of poor professionalism astounded me - especially from the boss himself. You will be reported to the ombudsman. I sincerely hope that potential customers reconsider doing business with Anders and to any current customers, I hope that you don’t have to feel endangered and threatened at your own home.
