Gazza's Takeaway

The girls are great! A nice little takeaway store in Bathurst. The place is always quite clean when I'm there, the food is always good, never had a bad feed here, the sandwiches are amazing and fresh. The opening hours aren't great, some days when I would like something quick and easy the business is open. But overall I think it's a great little takeaway store.

Today I went to get a burger I did not have a mask so I pulled my shirt up over my face the lady asked If I had a mask I replied no would you have I could have she said no im not here to supply you with masks then proceeded to tell me she would not serve me I walked out then a lady I presume was her friend as they waved to each other proceeded to walk into the shop with no mask on and handed her fresh produce, so I turned back around and asked why the lady was alouwed in without a mask as I wasn't allowed in with my shirt over my face she then told me she would be calling the police. I am absolutely disgusted with the level of discrimination that is going on. I will never be spending another cent in that store ever again.

Food was delicious. Staff were fantastic. I arrived before the opening time - the staff greeted me enthusiastically and started cooking my food as soon as the fryer oil was to temperature.

Awesome feed. Great service. Coming back when in Bathurst.

Ordered a large chips. Cost $10 and the box was only 60% full. Don't care if they're the best chips in the world, that's not worth it. Couldn't even fill the box. Not to mention the customer service was bad. Never going back there.

Rude, nasty woman working here! I had heard that the food was awesome here. Went in to order 4 burgers for dinner, paid approx $38. Waited for around 45mins then went in to see if they were ready as my little boy was sitting in the car getting hungry. The larger lady asked if I could close the sliding door as I had accidentally left it slightly ajar. I pushed it shut and she shouted at me not to get annoyed because my burgers weren't ready. I think she thought I deliberately slammed it but it's a heavy door. She said they weren't ready so I asked if they had started cooking them. She said it was none of my business and really started to get threatening and raising her voice saying she would give me a refund and that she had me on her security camera. She totally lost her temper and said if I shredded her on her fb page she would get me back. She gave me a refund. The worst customer service ever. Read all the reviews and you will see what I mean.

I called to place an order for pick up only to be met by a rude woman who spoke quickly so that I could not understand what she said. When I politely asked her to repeat what she had said she repeated slowly and loudly as if mocking someone with a disability (I myself have autism and hearing difficulties). I understand lunch rushes, however the disrespect and ableism this woman shows towards potential customers is disgusting. As a person of colour, I can only imagine what kind of treatment I would have received had I picked up the order. This is not the first time this has happened with the same woman, and it is greatly damaging the customer service reputation.

The rudest woman I have ever spoken to!! Needed to make an order for catering which is a large sum and needed to prepay for a customer and they would not accept over the phone card payments; I tried to ask if there was any other option and they straight up hung up on me after being snappy. Imagine decline a couple hundred dollar catering order because you just can't be bothered.

Love these guys. No mess, no fuss and great food. Kids love the potato scallops and the hit chips on a cool day hit the spot. They get very busy but there's a good reason for it. Some things are worth waiting for. Excellent place to grab a feed from gourmet burgers, salads and good old fish and chips. Highly recommend.

Phoned through order was being wrapped as I entered the shop. Everyone that ate the food that night loved it ( Fish & Chips).
